MDHillSlug - 2008-12-07 5:19 PM I'm trying to get in three runs this week but tomorrow morning it's predicted to be below 20F. Although I've run when it's that cold I think I'll put off my first run of the week until Tuesday.

Brrr! I wouldn't even want to stick my nose outside in that weather, much less run! Yes, definitely Tuesday, I'd say.

hey all

I didn't run or swam today, but I have spent a lot of time moving boxes around...up to, in and down from the attic, through the house to my car, from my car into the condo and up to the second floor.

Steve thinks that I am very 'domesticated'.  I turned an empty room into my room in about 12 hours.  It feels like home.

I plan on getting up bright and early for a morning run before school.

I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend.

My noggin must still be suffering.  I usually catch my obvious grammar mistakes and edit them out.

OOOPS...didn't realize I was in the challenge.  My challenge, since I tend to slack big time in December is 25 workouts, with at least 10 -  20 minute strength workouts!  Just tracking strength on the spreadsheet.  This may not seem like a challenge, but I'm a cardio and I hate strength training!!

I think for my next challenge I will be adding PT.  The nerves on the right side of my body are tighter/shorter than those on the left.  This makes injuries much more probable.

and it is a moderately hilly run.

Especially when you consider that I was wogging my mile in June. the biggest factor holding me back was asthma, but as I become fit it becomes less problematic.

My most challenging goal is to get my track mile back under 6 minutes.

In high school my 2 mile PR was 12:01.  For a short gal, I was quick.

I figure it is because I am lazy.  The faster I run, the sooner I will be done.

No, I am definitely very lazy

It is also why I get up more than an hour before I need to leave-even when I've already had a shower and set out my stuff.  I hate being rushed in the morning.

I love having 15 minute breaks between my classes.  They are all in the same room so I can just sit and play on the internet.

I could take a quick run...nah.

HTML is play time

oooh-I managed an A on my plant ID final (with no studying and a concussion).  I am so slick.

Actually, that is why I have such terrible study skills-I have almost always gotten high scores without studying.

Yeah, it's been quiet...too quiet!

I skipped yesterday's run because it was 20F; this morning it was 36. What a difference a day makes. Ran a fast (for me) 3.4 miles. Yea for a workout that counts towards the challenge!
