We'll see. Depending on the details, it may not be what I want/need. In terms of the position itself, it sounds like it'd be a good fit. But it's a little far from where I am (with a potentially bad commute, and finding a new place to live that's the right price, situation, etc could take awhile), and not sure of the salary.

Part of me feels like I shouldn't be irresponsible, and I should just take the first thing I am offered. But part of me feels like I should take advantage of the situation I am to try to find something that's a good fit all around. NOt necessarily the "perfect job", there really isn't any such thing for most people, but if the circumstances suck, I'll only be up and looking for another job within a year.

I can't see you sporting a white collar.  Just doesn't work.  And there's that tongue and rocker thing that would just stun the congregation.

Speaking of jobs......I just got a random call from some big wig in our agency asking me if I am interested in taking on this new position................as much as I'm flattered...................i think i have to turn it down.......................
In the world of social services..................higher position equals more stress..............i like the stress level I am at now......HA!

it's social work......more money isn't what it is compared to others........i have alot of freedom doing what I do and I network alot with different business/agency to promote my new program........i don't know if i want to manage workers and their caseloads...........plus, its in milwaukee and the extra time driving isn't worth time i have now with my son......
so i'll pass....but deeply honored.
