Perfectly ok... do what you can and log anything that you are substituting for running as running on the spreadsheet.  Take it easy on that leg!

No you're almost right. I looked in the mirror after my swim and it looked like someone dumped cherry koolaid down my neck and shoulders... Permanant next time I think.


Eeeek! Funny in hindsight though I am sure!

On another note, I am a sweater, its just the way I am, plus I try and train hard and added to that its Queensland summer right now and my muay thai gym has no air con. Last night I went through 3 seperate tops. About an hour in I came out of the ring and someone waiting for the class joked that I looked like I had been swimming.


No air conditioning in a gym!?

No....I don't think any gyms that train fighters have a/c. You get used to it. My regular gym has a/c of course although I hardly make it there to enjoy it!

So your next Tri will be as part of a relay team. And you'll do the biking portion.

Actually, you could do the swimming portion too.

I'm sure this delighted the other swimmers in the pool..... Especially since they had no idea what it was.

It means you can't run. BUT it doesn't mean you need to become a couch potato. Are you allowed to walk?

And there's always your pretty BIKE.

And there's swimming, too. Maybe you can "become one" with the water.

It doesn't even mean you need to give up Tri's. You could still compete as part of a relay team.....

Hm. Well. OK. You can do that. For awhile. Then you need to come out of the corner and get on the bike. Or, I suppose you could put the trainer in the corner, set up your bike on it --- and stay in the corner while pedaling.

What did the doctor say? How long will this take to heal?
