My wife just informed me that I have a swim lesson with Dave Scott on Thursday.  I am so grossly out of shape and then I have to go to the Flat Irons Fitness Club (I think that is the name) for a REAL swim lesson with a legendary triathlete.  No time like the present to start getting ready for IM CDA.

This will be fun--I have 6 lessons with him next year too.  I was hoping to postpone my lessons until I had at least a month of training in.  NO go.  Yikes!

GREAT!!! How very cool! That aught to help keep the Demons at bay!

I'm proud of myself and just had to share:

I'm slowly making my way back towards the weight where I started this challenge.  Last week Monday I went back to counting every calorie and being held accountable for what I was shoveling in my mouth.  And it's finally paying off:  for the first time in over 6 weeks, I'm back in the 140's!  I wanted this to be my Christmas present to myself... and I did it, a few days early, even.

And today at work one of our vendors is bringing in pizza for everyone.  Knowing that I can't just have one or two pieces, I'm going to avoid it entirely and eat a healthy lunch.  Go, me!  And I'm not even feeling all the deprived about it ... I'm finally back at a place where making the right decisions doesn't feel like such a struggle...

Going to work hard at making this last through the holidays!

Great job, Bill and Robin!!

My weight ticked up from yesterday despite being incredibly good at the office yesterday (avoided pizza, subs and cookies)..back up at 150.  But - is down 1.2 pounds from last week.  And headed in the right direction.

The holidays are going to be hard ... I'm such an all or nothing personality -- I do very poorly with "moderation".  My "moderation" looks more like eating until I'm feeling ill.  THEN I moderate.  Heh.

Giving some thought to simply avoiding all the bad food ... which will cause me some grief with the family, but might be easier... I hate to give up the progress I've made.

Great job, all of you! I'm inspired to get back on the horse today. Hopefully some time on the bike and running. Crossing everything it happens!

Made it through Christmas with eating only a thumb sized serving of the sessert my daughter made.  Easily burned t off prior to dinner with my long run.

Today, I earned  extra carbs with a bike ride.

Anyone interested in another round to keep the momentum going for those of us who have a lot farther to go.. or to help keep the balance for those who are where they want to be?

Lets keep this party going.  It's 5 weeks until Ground hog day.  What better way to predict the end of winter than to be a few pounds lighter, and a few seconds faster.

I say YES! Hopefully the 3rd round is the charm for me. This round I did just as horrible as I did on the first round. Hoping to turn it around for round #3.

I'm totally in for another round. It's these challenges that kept me from slapping on the mandatory 10 lbs of Christmas cheer this year, ha!

Well, the last Friday weigh-in and I'm hanging tight where I was last week, just about.  I'll count that as a victory since I haven't been good about watching my diet.

I'm big on resolutions and such, so I'll be laying out some big plans for 2012.

Happy New Year, everyone!  See y'all on the flip side!

Final Weigh IN... the same. I agree, the same is a WIN for this week.

Bill, hang with us, we will keep you honest!

Should we use the same spread sheet (which I am horrible about updating).

Today is my first day at it, though yesterday wasn't too bad if you ignored the champagne consumption. Too bad I like that stuff so much!

Got the plan ready and the food is pretty much on hand and prepped for the week.
