My goal is done for the week! another 2.5 today! Foot is a little stiff today but nothing to worry about,  going away with hubby for the weekend! first time away from the kids, excited and nervous at the same time.  Got my miles in just in case I am too lazy to do it this weekend, have a super duper spa day Saturday.

GO TEAM!

Great job, Teammate!

Now, if you live in Hawaii, where do you "getaway"?  Hawaii to me, living in Cheesehead land, is THE getaway!

good job reaching the weekly goal. i remember when me and the wife went away for the week end without the kids for the first time. it was great but at the same time a little nerve racking. but all turned out well. have a good time.

Thanks for the praises TLD! I found out I place 46th out of 68 overall and 14th out of 16 in my age group....lol. Gives me a reference point anyway. Next time I'll wear leggings when its 9 degrees out. The legs didn't want to move on the bike, not to mention getting down in aero position on my new Look 496 coming in the mail soon

It was fun experience...I'm definately hooked.

Legs have been sore this week so I haven't done anything yet but will be in a 5k running race on Saturday so that should help a little with the stats.

Have fun out there....wherever there is...

I just put up another 3 this afternoon!  At this rate, on Oct 31st, I will have run 42 miles, and my goal is 36!

Yogin61, great job!  You get hooked pretty quickly.  Leggings might be a good idea next time.

tritwinmom, good job on getting your miles in for the week.  Have a great weekend get a away.  Know your kids are in very capable hands (or else you wouldn't be leaving them) and just enjoy your time.  Have a fabulous time.

I did a short one today, but I am looking to do seven on Saturday, and that will get me pretty close to my 50 for the month....

how can the #1 team be down on the list hee hee!

i'll probably do a 3 or 4 miler at some point over the weekend - my daughter is doing a fund-raiser swim marathon for her swim team on saturday, they swim for 30 minutes non-stop and collect pledges per lap - we're in for a dollar a lap - she's 6 and new to swimming so we're hoping to contribute at least 25 dollars to the team.

that's the only fun scheduled - i have to work at the tv station tonight and tomorrow night yuk, double yuk.

Since BirkieRunner here is racing in the Door County (WI) Fall50 (miler), I volunteered up there and will be cheering him on.  I expect to get most of my miles this weekend to finish my goal.

Have a great weekend team LD!

Our team is so awesome!!

I just realized I completed my goal! Yeah, that means the foot is doing good! Should I add more miles???  I think I may.

Have a great weekend everyone, I am not allowed to bring the laptop so I will type on Monday!

okay - i just gushed all over my blog about it, but i had to brag to my fellow living dead heads that my daughter kicked butt at her swim marathon today.

she is a new swimmer - only been doing it within a coached-team basis since the second week of september - but today swam a non-stop 1100 yards in 30 minutes! she's amazing!

hope everyone is having a great day - i'm back to running tomorrow - gonna try for 6 miles. (hugs)
