I still can't believe how little I am running versus last year, down about 150 miles per month.  I'm liking it, but what a difference when you move from  being a runner to a triathlete.  I guess you can tell where my weak area is by looking at the totals!  Three July goals for me 1) figure out my nutrition for the HIM, 2) continue my swim progress and 3) build greater strength on the bike.

June's totals:
Bike:20h 52m 17s  - 360.84 Mi
Run:15h 13m 40s  - 106.32 Mi
Swim:21h 52m 43s  - 42675 Yd
Strength:45m

Off to the track! Another new experience.

hehe yah, my wife and I started dating when I lived in my Fraternity house in college.  She can hold her own in a good put down fight/jokes, etc.  Plus she know all the great quotes from Caddyshack, Blues Brothers, Tommy Boy, etc that are always good.

Whaa, Whaa, Whaa,  You really need to work on those numbers...Before you know it, if you keep going you'll be running the PRO circuit and have a sponsor.  Suzy...Going PRO.  Seriously, Nice job.  My goal is to work half as hard as you.

Well its Canada Day today, so hanging out at home today. Going to go for a run shortly, then head out to the mountains with the family for a little hike and picnic.

BTW, what kind of country picks a Wednesday for the day off?

Went to the hotel gym this AM to run. About 90% of the way through my hour I wanted to quit. It was hot, I was drenched and not feeling it. Then I thought of John in the Texas heat running 13.1 miles after swimming and biking. So I HTFU and finished. Thanks for inspiring me. I admire your will John.

Suzy: Some serious numbers!
