The slacker is back!! ......ummm yeah....that's ME........

Completely motivated to start my HIM training...I know there will be days where I may stray off my training plan and the end result may turn into completing a Sprint vs. HIM (due to thesis/son) but the gorgeous weather has got me missing swim/bike/run soooo bad!! So, here I go again.....

Looks like everyone is doing great in here!!

The first race in my area is actually 12th April but I can't compete as I'm on vaccation.  I'm also missing a couple of local duathlons I was going to race.  Never mind.

36 mile ride today in high winds.  30mph with 50mph gusts according to the forecast.  Better than hills!

I'll take you to task on that one. I would rather hills than wind any day.

Nice riding eveyone!

I was able to get some MTN biking in.  It was a great time.  The only bad part is my bike fell off the back of my car while driving through a parking lot (a part of the rack broke and dropped the bike)...  Bike is a tank so it's ok.  But scratched my car up a bit...  Need to get some touch up paint.

First soccer match of the season. Almost put one in today.

I am going to hate moving tomorrow. Day after first match is always brutal. SO MANY muscles you use in soccer that you just can't work out by trunning alone...

I'm thinking in a couple more weeks, I will be able to drive straight to the MTN bike trails after work and get an hour or so in...  YES!!!!

I'm thinking about inputing an IM plan from my book into BT.  If anyone is interested, I can email it to them to upload....

I think I have one or two already loaded.  I have to see the disances though.

Just checked.  I loaded a HIM plan.  Geoff also gave me an Oly plan he uploaded...

I must have done a number on my legs last weekend. They're STILL sore from hiking & soccer. Hopefully my swim & ride today will finish off the recovery.

'Kido, how does that Oly training plan look?

Did my longest continuous swim today. 400 yards. I did take a couple of breaths on the wall midway. Felt better on the 2nd half. Two months ago I would have been happy with a length of the pool.

I'm interested in an OLY plan if you have one.  I'm not really training to a plan at the moment.  I find it hard sticking to one.  My life is so regimented with work that I like being more flexible with my training.  I know that this isn't ideal and that I am probably not getting full benifit out of training, but I am never going to win Kona anyway and I enjoy training and racing like this.

I'm about to pony up for an upgraded membership, just for a more detailed training plan.

Sure, I can mix up my workout intensity myself, but I have no idea if I'm doing it right or not.
