There are pros out there wearing compression socks that cover the calves (Andy Potts is one I can think of off the top of my head, a few others), so it shouldn't be a concern. I think that was on of those "good idea fairies" that thankfully got put to bed. I'm not one to wear them during the race (after yes) but I think people should have the option if they want to do it. Anyhow, it shouldn't be any trouble at all from what I saw of WTC this past year. |

I'm feeling a bit fatigued, but nothing more than that so far. I haven't spent the past several months training just to get sick before the race. Not going to happen. Nope. Won't allow it. @Destroyer. Re weight loss. Looks like I will be racing a bit heavier than my previous attempts, maybe by 2-3 pounds. Oh well. More built-in energy reserves for the bike & run I guess. I won't delude myself into thinking it's muscle. Not on my gut.  |

Made all of the morning workouts so far this week, but the eves have been a no go. Maybe the Oly this weekend will knock some sense into me? |
