Off to Vermont for AG Nationals and then to Montreal for a few days of R&R.

Have fun kids.

Don't mess up the place while I'm gone.

Best of luck and safe travels.

I have a silly training day tomorrow before my flight.

20' run; 3:30 bike; 20' run

as a r/b/r brick, then hustle to the airport...  icky

You can do some chair calisthenics from your airplane seat too!  Butt clenches and pelvic tilts and jazz hands!

I have some friends who started a personal training business - they created a (serious) video on how to get in a training session while waiting at the airport. I don't even know what to say about it.

I hope they included jazz hands!!!!!!

and maybe a spirit stick??

Our airport used to have a small anex office of 24 hour fitness in it.  I thought it was a good idea.  But apparently not many other people did because it closed.  Basic cardio equipment and some weights, locker room.

I would like a spin class plane with bikes instead of seats, and an instructor instead of a flight attendant.

I would think unless there were shower facilities, it would be uncomfortable to work up a sweat and then go sit in an enclosed airplane in close proximity to others...

But I'd totally do it if there were showers available and I had a few hours to spare!

That's a great idea. I'd spin or treadmill or row on a 3 hour flight. Hmmm....perhaps TAN has found their business model! We have pilots.....we just need planes!

A hot yoga plane too PLS.

Yes, showers...  I figured that was included with "locker rooms".  But I guess it doesn't have to be.

The people using the equipment could generate some of the power to fly the plane. We could be the green and healthy airline!

But I don't want to crash because some lazy person decides not to put in the effort...

So I'm trying to smash all my training in M-F to enjoy the weekend.  (Wedding in Denver).  EXCEPT a long run along Cherry Creek and the Platte River...

Know what's crazy, I really didn't think about tri much while I lived in Denver/Boulder, but started after moving to the desert.  No I regret all the long rides and runs I could have been doing in Colorado.  I guess I did plenty of MTB riding and trail runs, so that counts.

I feel the same way.  Lived in CO for 30 years, and didn't take advantage of it like I should have.  Now I'm heading up there next week, and planning on taking both road and mtn bike, and trying to figure out how I can work in an OWS, and plenty of running.

That's what I was thinking.  $50/day to rent a bike that someone else has beat up.  Once I started looking at bringing my own saddle, pedals, seat bag, etc. I figured it was just easier to hook up the bike carrier and take my own.  Then, if you're going to bring the road, you might as well bring the mtb.

Hell yeah if you are driving...  I have to fly

I could easily go for a month and just ride all the routes I know off the top of my head, both road and MTB.  Mt Evans, Vail Pass, lookout mtn.  All the trails around Denver...

I should plan a longer trip sometime.  There is so much fun stuff to do but when we go, we have to stick to the city and hang out with friends and familly.  This time fly in, wedding, fly out.
