Heh. Sounds familiar. I was in San Luis Obispo this summer visiting with my wife's family for a week and a half. Wanted to hit the beach SO bad for some open water swimming, but they had had *2* shark sightings that week...errgh... Shark schmark. Hell, I used to swim at Tybee Island, GA, all the time, and they were pulling nurse sharks out of the water all the time with a 100 yards of the swim areas. Leave me alone I can be skeered if I want to. |

Well, holy cow, Mila - you never told me you lived in Olney...you just said Maryland. We lived in that fake part of Silver Spring that was just south of Olney...(not the real part of Silver Spring that touched the district...but the part above Wheaton & below Olney that they didn't bother to give another name...) I loved Maryland...no, that's not true...I tolerated MD, loved the food. (yeah, that's a shocker!) |
