Yes, I'm all aerodynamic, er... in a better position to heal up road rash... er... really, really vain.

I'm positive there is a really good quote that should be used in response to this - where in the heck is Barb when I need her? hehe!

Probably not riding her bike.

Yeah that's right. I went there.

Oh SNAP...you're crusin' for a bruisin', Bill! That little section up there made me think of the intro-cheer for Bring It On...(well, that and You're So Vain by Carly Simon)... I'm sexy, I'm cute, I'm popular to boot I'm b*tchin', great hair, the boys all love to stare. I'm wanted, I'm hot, I'm everything you're not I'm pretty, I'm cool, I dominate the school. Who am I? Just guess! Guys wanna touch my chest I'm rockin', great smile, and many think I'm vile. I yell and I jump you can look but don't you hump, whoo! I'm major, I roar, I swear I'm not a ! We cheer and we lead and we act like we're on speed Hate us cause we're beautiful? Well, we don't like you either! We're cheerleaders, we are cheer-leaders Now go away and shave yourself, boy!! (Speaking of which, my hubby just picked up Nair for Men...didn't know they made that!)

Barb, that was perfect!

Hey Barb, that cheer was great. I'm interested in how the Nair for Men works out. I've got a whole lot of hair to get rid of.

Nair got rid of the hair pretty good, though I was just using regular nair when I did it.  However, I have some seriously sensitive skin and it left a nice rash and burned a bit more than I wanted.  The legs felt tender for a few days.

Now bear in mind I get rashes if I'm within ten feet of rag weed, and as we've seen, I sunburn quite severely.  I blame chlorine.

Dude.

Waxing?!

YEEEOOOOOCH.

I got waxed before out wedding a few years back. It was such a painful experience...though I loved the fact I didn't have to shave for a month or something. Oh man...I only go on super special occasions. Like every 2 years. My legs started shaking just thinking about it.

The hubby has super sensitive skin, too. I think he's going to do a test run with the Nair for Men before Galena (next weekend). I'll let you know how it goes over.

I could see waxing the legs, but the rug I've got on my chest. Ouch! I would seriously be worried about blood loss. It would be like the waxing scene in the 40 Year Old Virgin.

As Marma said in the video, for Steve Carrell's salary I'd do it.

Morning schwimmy schwim.  Lots of "traffic" in the pool this morning.  There were two of us in our lane and one dude was standing on the deck, looking pitiful like he wanted in too.  Geez!  How many people can you fit in a phone booth?  Remember those days?

When the alarm went off at 5:AM, the first thoughts in my head were.... "If you see a painted sign on the side of the road..."

B-52's Love Shack.  Back in my wilder years.

"Everybodys movin, everybodys groovin..."

Hopefully that denotes a good day today!

"Folks lining up outside just to get down..."

RunningJayhawk - 2008-05-06 2:20 PM  You and me both. One of my friends did the one day thing over the weekend and said it was definitely a tough course. The last out and back is by and far the worst, the middle one is easy and the first is challenging, but nothing like the last. You should consider the enduracamp at the end of the month. It's 5 days and we'll actually ride the iron-cross. I'll be there with bells on!! :D

Barb - I soooo wish I could make the enduracamp!  Work is just too busy to take off right now   I checked it out - looks like it will be a great experience!!  Enjoy!

Nothin' wild about the B-52s...

Funky little shack! Funk-y little shack!

Hop in my Chrysler,
it's as big as a whale
and it's about to set sail!
I got me a car, it seats about twenty
So c'mon and bring your jukebox money.

No morning workout.  1800 yd swim at lunch.

So tomorrow, I'll have this:

High speed wireless internet access, so I can access BT internet from home and from 'hotspots' while on the road...ability to sync with Outlook and pick up e-mail should give me more access to BT help me to be more organized...

"Bang, bang, bang, on door, baby!"

*sigh* Now I'm going to have Love Shack stuck in my head for the rest of the day.

Unfavorable weather today so I spent an hour on the trainer.  Watched a little Ghostbusters to help get me through.

"Who ya gonna call?  Ghostbusters!"

During my entire swim this morning I had that song in my head.  A girl I was dating at the time said the song was "busy."

Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiin roof!  Rusted!

I saw a brief mention of the Holy Handgrenade in an earlier post.
"Three shalt thou count to."

Hey, Terry.  I'm sure you've seen this before, but everytime I come across a mountain biker I think of this ad and laugh my a$$ off.  Working out at the Y regularly I feel like this guy a lot.

ok, team

sorry, but no workout for me tonight - I didn't leave work until almost  8 pm - I won't bore you with the details, it's in my blog if you want to read later when you are having a hard time falling asleep......

Long story short - there is a reason my volume goals for the month are low - never fear, I will meet my goals - I always do

we don't want Sal to be on a losing team again, now do we?????

I'm a little hungry.
