Nope.  Big project done.  No more trips to Chicago for a while.

Lots going on.  Training.  Gettting the yard and house ready for son's grad party.  Basement renovation.  Just picked up furniture for my daughter's 'new' bedroom.  Picking out 'stuff' for the new guest bedroom...

I haven't been on Nibbs much, have I?

Right there with ya Jenn... I'm not motivated for much of anything though... Well, I might be motivated to workout if it didn't include getting up at 5:00 this morning... yep, just didn't have it in me to do it... so I slept in until 6:15.

got nothing done at work yesterday, except creating that "dream" spin room... now I've got to get the nose to the grind   UGH!!!

Hey Sal... If you run out of projects there's plenty at my house   Let's see.. till the garden, fix hallway ceiling (hole from swamp cooler that was taken out almost two years ago), paint master bed & bath, replace carpet,  pour concrete, move sprinkler heads before pouring concrete... 
I think perhaps I should take a sebatical from work.

Hi Nibbies...I missed you! 

We lost electricity at home yesterday (downed power line at 9AM wan't repaired until 10 PM).  I was having Nibbs withdrawal and now have WAY too much to catch up on...(and that includes inspires too)

That sucks!  We lost power during the night, but it was on again yesterday morning.  Glad you are back.   

UGH!!!  I can't imagine no electricity in humid southern heat.

Heh...yesterday we had to turn on our heat because it was 49 degrees when I got home from work and about 65 in the house.  At least it's better timing for the power to go out right now.

Yeah, it looked like they didn't pay the bill yesterday.  The downhill course looks really nice!  Probably can't talk my husband in to going out to Napa Valley for a race (or letting me go) just yet.

I'm doing my first in October - Marine Corps Marathon.  I want to see how that goes before I decide to commit to any more.

Well I could argue that as swimming is more a skill that can be trained with time and perseverance and some pointers on technique that anyone can learn to swim well... however it is obvious you actually do NOT enjoy swimming so I can understand not wanting to what would be excessive amounts of time on something that gives you no pleasure.

But... I know your position on that... so I would just take the polite approach and say thanks or just ignore it. Or turn it back on someone... everyone likes to talk about themselves ie. "Congratulations on the improvements youve made". Then its not about you, its about them... And you can chill out and move on!

Yes, he did make a very nice comment. I wonder what's wrong with him.
