" There are high spots in all of our lives and most of them have come about through encouragement from someone else. I don't care how great, how famous or successful a man or woman may be, each hungers for applause." --- George Matthew Adams
So be sure to inspire at least one other "peach" member every day!!
Speaking of inspires - I love that quote on your blog that goes "One day my body will no longer be able to do this. Today is not that day!"I'm not a big one for corny quotes but that one mirrors my sentiments about life to a T!
Actually, do you mind if I borrow that quote for my signature line?
canadarn2001 - 2008-11-06 8:12 AM Met a friend at 5:30am this morning for a run...we got 47 mins in! We must be crazy getting up at that time!
I did almost the exact same thing. At least there is some comfort in knowing other crazies are out there!
If y'all are crazy for getting up at 5:30 for a run, what does that say about me getting up at 5 for mine? Good job peaches!
Heck, I get up at 4:08 for my workouts. I could probably push it to 4:18 and not drink my coffee, but I feel it's worth it.
Well you beat me on the crazy scale Maybe we should come up with a sliding scale based on what time we get up. I did 4:45 this morning, but that's the earliest I'll do. Somehow that 15 minute difference from my normal 5AM is just brutal!
Shermbelle - 2008-11-06 10:15 PM Used a couple of mulligans on Tues and Wednesday (just taking my dog on his walk) and a short trainer ride tonight but tomorrow hopefully will be able to report a nice 100+ mi ride and short run. Just need the weather to co-operate
Hi Fruits! I worked out my post nightshift fog by going for an easy 3k run and 60 min of Yin yoga. Feel like a human being again. Keep it Peachy peeps!
twohearted - 2008-11-07 6:14 PM 10 min. of basketball to WU, one hour of WT training followed by 15 min swim. I think this is the last warm day here in MI.
My thoughts exactly. I thought about doing back to back longerish rides 3-4 hours but decided on the one long one due to the chance of crap starting tomorrow.
I've been bad about posting my peaches ~ I'll work on this! I ran 3.5 miles last night and will hopefully be able to swim today but it all depends on what time hubby gets home. I may just end up running again!
Ok - where is the spreadsheet we have to fill in? Is there one? If so, any way of getting the link posted on the very first post of the challenge so it's easy to find?

At a conference from 7:45-5 with 90-120 minutes commuting to & from but I had to get my peach today. Although a run or bike would have been great I squeezed in a 25 minute walk. Since I was at a psychiatric hospital I wasn't sure that running was in my best interest. Did see a few bike commuters on my way in-kudos to them out at rush hour in the wet. Hope you all have a PEACHY time this weekend.
