Pro 4482 NJ | Subject: RE: Show us your Ghoulies - Halloween Run Challenge Page #4 wgraves7582 - 2009-10-28 8:15 AM Recap: We are in 1st place and that is all that matters! We have a lot of people closing in on 100% Ann, Bill, Tom, and Neal all volunteered to take of a creep for Stacie Stacie is losing her tapering mind and forgetting her undergarments at the Y and swimming in the **** (kidding - but she did forget a lot of stuff at the Y and fortunately it was still there upon her return!) Ann was "forced" into a long run by some mean pups in the hood (or country I would better imagine!) Tom has big feet and Stacie asked if he knew what that meant and he said that he had big shoes to fit them Curiously Ann did not comment on this - is she trying to be good for the last couple of days now? Robin has a farting chair, new shoes on the way because they were out of stock (Which brand Robin????and which model????), her computer likes wine and spaghetti so it is speaking Italian on the mouse - BonJour (or is that French?) Debbie was mia doing Laundry all day - that does not sound like fun. I think we need to have a Ghoulies moving party for her because I heart that part of NY and you guys would too after you saw it - especially with some snow but I think the rain is ruining that! Amy stopped by - discussed dinner and kids and homework and then was gone. Kendra met someone cool (double leg amputee who finished IM!) sang a cool song and then promised to be 100% by month end I am out of gas sorry if I missed anything! Thank you, thank you, thank you. The thought of 44 pages was just too much, but I will probably peek at a few anyway. |

I cannot see doing 500 miles on a bike in 5 days if I cannot mow the lawn for 2 hours without shear pain! Guess I have to ask the Chiro next week! sorry to hear this Bill...but maybe better to wait and really enjoy the bike trip then to make it a suffer fest! |

Lesson learned I promise! i knew what the answer was. call it GHOULIE GIRL intuition. lesson learned, indeed. or the next script i write will be for an all out no holds barred a$$ whoopin' from said, GHOULIE GIRL, MD. and you dont want me to comin' up NORTH to whoop your a$$ im tellin ya. ask my boys. they know. I cannot see doing 500 miles on a bike in 5 days if I cannot mow the lawn for 2 hours without shear pain! Guess I have to ask the Chiro next week! im sorry. i dont want to make fun/light of your situation.... [though i WILL come and kick your a$$....] this. is. really. difficult. theres no two ways around it. it just is. totally suckish. and maybe you'll have to rethink your decision - maybe the timing just isnt right - or maybe, given time and attention - you'll heal well enough to go. our bodies are really amazing at healing/repairing/restoring. talk to the Doc. do what you need to do to care for yourself. and then see what your body is gonna do. [i know im not tellin' you anything your not tellin' yourself already] mwah! stacieb Yes but it is still good to hear. So now I am reduced to lifting, swimming, and aqua jogging. I can do the elliptical but have I told you have much disdain I have for elliptical machines!!!!!! suck it up mr w.graves. and get on the elliptical! you didnt like aquajogging, now you're tolerating it. this is your zenmaster talking. become one with the elliptical. make peace with the elliptical. or we can go back to.... GET YOUR A$$ ON THE ELLIPTICAL GRAVES! nuff said. im going to the Y to do the swim i dont want to do and the strength training i DISDAIN, totally. you can suck it up too and get on the elliptical. this is my SUCK IT UP AND JUST DO IT CHALLENGE. im laying it down. watcha gonna do mr w. graves? huh? huh? i'm gonna 'chick' ya. stacieb hummmm does mr w. graves have the b@#! to take Stacie up on this challenge???? |

Elite 3447 West Allis, WI | Subject: RE: Show us your Ghoulies - Halloween Run Challenge Page #4 wgraves7582 - 2009-10-28 8:58 AM kimk - 2009-10-28 9:56 AM wgraves7582 - 2009-10-28 7:06 AM Alright teamies - nothing like Ann or Robin's story but here goes: Yesterday I head home and realize the weather is pretty nice and going to be pretty wet the rest of the week so I decide to mow/leaf clear the lawn. This is a 2 hour process and I figure if I get the front and most of the rest I can wait to hit the back once all the leaves are down. So I am mowing along and my #**#(#)#)(*$#)(*$(&#(*$#*&$(*#$&#(&(*#&$(*#)(()@$ IT Band flares up so bad I can barely walk back to the house (and it is not that far). I am so pizzola right now probably more at myself because after that I told the family I was going swimming and while at the Y I attempted a treadmill run for some stupid reason. Made it about 3 minutes and had to bail so I hit the pool. Then my leg flared up swimming and that really made me mad. So I aqua jogged and am now at 100%. If I get any more sessions in I will keep upping my goal because I lowered it in the first place so I don't think it would be fair for me to be able to go over 100% if Dee allows in the end. Sorry to hear this Bill.....you need to rest it!!!! I know Kim but Robin mentioned men are stubborn yesterday and that is one of my bad traits but it is a good trait also Just not when it comes to recovery! I hear ya...when I had my concussion I had to have a "baby sitter" because I would not just rest! |
