Oh my.  I'm feeling worse today.   I may have to re-evaluate my goals when I'm done with this cold.  It's preventing me from getting workouts done.  I'll let you guys know soon.


Please take care of yourself...these challenges are to push you to get the workouts in...but not at the expense of your health! We can always adjust your goals. Healthy body=strong body=productive training....sick body = rest!

Morning team! Had great classes and a swim yesterday! Today is pump, silversneakers, run and vive....maybe bodyflow depending on what weight watcher meeting I go to.

Got a strength and bike done yesterday after walking around picking out hardwood floors.

Today is a walk and core - it is 68* here this morning and foggy. If the fog clears up it might be a day to walk outside.

OK, Wind Chill Warriors, I was sick but now I'm back.  Happy to report that I'm making excellent progress on my running and weight loss goals.  Sad to report that my swimming and biking have sucked this month.  However, I have lots of both in my plans for the next couple weeks, and am still committed to achieving my monthly goals.

Like Dorrie in "Finding Nemo" - just keep swimming, swimming, swimming . . . !

I got a bike ride in yesterday.  Today was supposed to be a swim, but I need to take dinner to a sick friend today so I will not have time to swim.  However, I will Strength Train tonight instead.  There is still time in the month left for me to make up the swim.  Now I just need to figure out what to make for dinner!  Wink

We had a wonderful dinner last night!  My husband went mushroom hunting and came home with LOADS of hedgehog mushrooms.  We made barley soup with them.  Yum!!!

Today, I'm still sick.  I have lost my voice.  And.....it's our anniversary!!!!!!  I love my husband.  I'll have to wait until I'm better to do something for him.

Where is everyone today?

I got a yoga session done this afternoon while baby was sleeping.   It felt good and it was just what I needed.

This cold is definitely affecting my runs.  Today was a run day but it isn't going to happen.  I may do a very short run tomorrow on the treadmill if I feel up to it.

Well yesterday was supposed to be my swim and run day, unfortunately my boyfriend, his roommate and I got in a car accident. Everyone's ok thankfully, I was too sore to do anything yesterday but I got a short bike session in today just to ease back into things. Kind of feel like I'm getting sick though which I really hope won't happen. So as of right now I'm behind on all of my goals except biking but I think I can definitely pick the pace back up once my neck starts feeling less sore and stiff.

Good Morning!  I did manage to do a ST session last night.  I am not sure what I will be able to fit in today with my crazy schedule!  But I should still be pretty much on track with my goals for the month.  Days like today are exactly why I try to get in an extra workout or two early in the month!

Well, crud.  I fell today at work and landed hard on my knees.  Floor was carpeted but with cement underneath.  One knee is bruised but no problem.  The  other knee feels tweaked.  I am supposed to run tomorrow... I will have to see how it feels in the morning.  crud!

Dee approved a reduction in my running goal.  I'll wait until this stupid cold is over before I do the math.  I may try to do a short run later today if the rain holds off long enough.
