I thought it was supposed to be minty too but when I had half of one last week, it tasted.....non minty.  I have no words to describe how it tasted though.  No clue on the flavor.  But Cole loved it.

Somehow the fact that it's supposed to be minty (which I love) yet you got one that was a flavor other than minty makes me want one even more.

That's how I remember it.  It was supposed to be minty, but it was actually a weird not-really-minty flavor. I'm not sure it's good, either, just addictive.
OK, I was becoming intrigued. Until I read this on that website: "Information that you might want to know: a 32-ounce Shamrock Shake contains 1,110 calories and 26 grams of fat, according to the McDonald's website." Now, I'm a little less intrigued. I still may try one though.
Holy crap... after seeing the calorie count in print I may never have a milkshake again! If only this kind of of reality therapy worked on those cookies...

Hey at least they are not faking it or advertising it is good for you like the companies that got busted by the FDA did!

Just workout harder and enjoy the shake!
A couple hundred cal treat, I can enjoy because I know if I work hard I can make it up. Over a thousand... can't quite imagine that the pain to work it off is worth it...[/QUOTE]
I am sooooo with you on this thinking! Maybe I can get hubby to buy one and I can just taste it? It has been soooooo long!

I didn't realize the Westies were now the Twisters! I guess we should have a different picture. As far as using that one of the hurricane, strongly vertical pictures work best but I might be able to cut out a center piece or something.

I did a 2.6 mile run this morning. It may not sound like much but I think it's the longest I've done since I shut it all down last July because of Achilles issues. I'm trying out some new running shoes that feel quite a bit different from what I'm used to so I did 0.7mi in the new and then 1.9 in the old. For my next run I'll switch that around.

ebshot - 2010-03-04 2:23 PM Oh my heck.  I just got home from Cole's doctor appt.  It was at 10:10 this morning.  It's almost 3:30.  Yeah, it went well.  He has bronchial pneumonia.  No wonder he wasn't getting any better.  So, no school today or tomorrow.  That means no run today or tomorrow for me.   Now that he is on a super dose of antibiotics and many inhalers, maybe he can get better.

Sorry to hear about the kiddo!  Hope he feels  better soon!

I REALLY like the picture... BUT -- did you notice the name of the OTHER team? Here's their team table: http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp... That said, I'm going to put it on my blog now.

The West team isn't very original, are they?

Poor kid. Hope he's feeling better soon! (I'm telling you, that pediatrician is going to build a new medical office and name it after your kids.)

No kidding!  I've seen her at least once a week for 5 weeks.  Next week will be 6 weeks in a row.  And last week, I saw her three times (in one day no less) and next week we have a double appt.

Shouldn't the doctors give some kind of volume discount?

Oh yeah - you guys knocked off some 90s pop band for your title - that is original right? Wink

Who are the Beastie Boys?  Some 'classic' hardcore punk band in the 80s?  I believe there are several people on this team that were BORN in the 80s and their parents probably didn't approve of this band as part of their nighttime music ritual...

Bill, I'm really confused.  What team are you on?

I am on the TWISTERS (west) but I luv posting on the bEASTies because I know so many of you.

I want you all to do 99% but we are doing 100%.  Sort of a mean type of encouraging - lol!
Wait, did you guys decide on a name change? If so, let me know and I'll change your thread name.

It is T.W.I.S.T.E.R.

Thanks Dee!

Love the nickname acromym for that OTHER team.  However, if I were on that team, our motto would say "blowing away the competition" 'cause we're a twister...get it....um...anyone?    j/k

Beastie Boys were late 80's... wasn't their re-make of Aerosmith's "Walk This Way" their first big hit?  I was never a fan.
