While the doc was evaluating my knee yesterday he told me I had good strong quads, and my knee was very stable. Thank you October running and yoga!

It's a rainy day in NC. I am off to get my car tuned. Why do I think 8:00 appointments 45 minutes away is a good idea?

Good Morning.  I had a nice run yesterday.  So far the rain and wind have been cooperating with my runs.  Either none or just a light mist.

Nice to get some outside validation like that!  How are you feeling today?

I got a decent less-than-12-minute-mile 5-mile walk/run in today. that was the first one in forever.

Morning Dee! You are better than I . I am a fair weather exerciser. Which is why I have my trainer and my treadmill. I am hoping to hop on the bike here in a few. I have some documents to read.

Huh!  If I tried that I would probably get motion sick and be done with everything for the day!  More power to you!

I am very fair weather on the bike, plus bike needs a tuneup and possibly new tires.  Too cheap to pay for that right now.  Therefore I have not ridden at all.  Maybe I should just set it up on a trainer or rollers and forget about riding outside.  No reading on the bike though, for me! LOL

Dee, the knee is feeling better. Haven't tried running yet, I'm going to try going for a walk first to see how that goes.

Um... Robin... would your mom adopt me, too?

I don't even get 1 birthday card a year from my mom. She did text me though this year, about a week after the fact.

Yeah... the kiddos don't get cards from their grandma either.

That is too bad... for their grandparents. Your folks don't know what they are missing. Especially since your kids are so darn cool!

My sister and I realized years ago that we are nothing more than accessories. Not sure my brother has figured it out yet.

Last night the kiddos and I met one of my aunts at a local pizza place for dinner. Caleb and my aunt spent the evening talking about him being on the Underwater Basket Weaving team at school. They were hilarious.
