Love seeing everyone's before and after photos..... There are no before shots of me sans shirt, since it didn't come off much. I'm 6'3" -- before was 220 about 2 years ago. After is now at 175 and feeling great - who says life is down hill after 30?!?

Ok, here goes mine for now. I'll call this Before and Current. I still have a ways to go. I started at 240lbs in Feb and 205 last weekend. Scroll over the picture to see before.

Long slow distance (LSD). I did that for nine months.. My average slow mile went from 11min with a hart rate of 170max to 8.5 min with a 170max. It was really hard to get use to running slow all the time but it was an awesome way to build a base, for the CV system, the joints, bones and now I just have to work in some speed. Which I have been doing so I should have another ‘after’ photo by the end of the month. The last one was taken in May.

Cheers.

Rice.

Ok, I'll post mine.

The first one is me on my horse back in May 2004.  I'm about 175 lbs.  The second one is a couple months ago in Hawaii with my hubby.  I'm 152 lbs and 18% bodyfat.

Some amazing pictures. Inspiring. Me in March 2006 and October 2006. Easier to run with 35 pounds removed.

Wow, these photos came up large - still a work in progress - 15kg (33 pounds) to go.  Since these photos I have lost about 3 kg of fat and put on 2kg of muscle - no current photos as yet - hope these will inspire me to keep on going

Before 89.5kg (196.9 pounds)

During ( 1 & 2) 75.5kg (166.1 pounds)

Mark....looking trim ! Nice work. How did you shed the pounds?

Thanks! Working out 10 times a week (6 days). Eating 6 times a day in smaller portions. Cutting out all sugar as possible and processed foods (as much as possible). No fast food.

In March, I couldn't run 400 yards without gasping for air. This morning I ran 12 miles in 2 hours as part of my LSD. I won my age group in a 5k recently in just over 22 minutes.

My bodyfat before was over 30%. Now it is 10%. It has been an incredible journey to say the least.

Since I am rambling, why not go on

It all started when I got my cholosterol results back. It was 241. I had no idea what cholosterol even was (old person's thing I thought). Nurse called and said I needed to go on Lipitor right away. Doctor didn't even consult me about natural options. That was my wake up call.

I went to a different doctor last month and my cholosterol results were 180 and my resting heart rate was 38.

I love this board. Truly inspiring. I still have a lot of self-doubt (hard to get rid of) but it is slowly being replaced by confidence.

Cheers
