Oh, I wish I was more computer literate ... trying to upload a picture, ugh!

is it because of its size? I can step you thru the procedure if you like!?!  you will be a pro and then get to show off all your travels/tris....let me know if you want help.

My husband helped me resize them to get them into my album here but I can't figure out how to post them from my album to the forum. Guess I could read the instructions, but time and attention limited right now.

Good luck Julie IN and Helen ... you guys are going to do great! Hope to have time to look at the calendar this week and figure out what's next.

Hope everyone has a GREAT weekend!

Just wanted to pop by to say a few words...
Good luck to Helen and Julie this weekend!
Congrats to Dan on signing up for the Oly- you will be great...I too have been trying out the wetsuit thing and while I wouldn't say I have it mastered yet, my tips would be to get lots of practice- if you can do conscutive days, it would help- if you've skied consecutive days, you know what I mean, also, just relax and take advantage of the buoyancy to do a good glide. Once I got the glide figured out, it actually helped me in the pool.
Congrats to Karen on your sale and purchase- exciting times!
Congrats to Trish on your fantastic result.
Sorry Nicole to hear about your injury- all I can say, is be patient and trust that you have the endurance to complete the run from your strong cycling. My coach and doc both said to either water run/use the elliptical/ or cycle whenever you are scheduled to run.
Alyssa- sorry to hear what you have been going through, do take care of yourself and your new little baby bump. Congratulations!
Julie, I hope that you are well- big hugs go out to you, our fearless leader.

hugs to everyone...

Thanks for popping by! Always good to hear from you! hope your training is going well. Will be reading all your logs over the weekend....hope their updated

go to your bt album where you uploaded them

right click on the pic you want to upload

scroll down to properties and copy entire properties url that you see in the middle of the box

then go to the message board you want to paste in and click on the little green tree and when the box pops up...paste the properties url

woo hoo a picture shows up!

if you want to add a border type any number between 1-5 in the box that says border and you get a black border around your picture....kinda nice cuz it frames the pic.

hope this helps! let me know when you are ready to learn how to post them in inspires or emails...

go get em tiger...we know you are one high tech mama just waiting to be unleashed!

Aspen Finish

Wow, Julee, you are such a great teacher ... look at that ... I actually figured it out ... guess that's why you are our fearlers leader!!  Anyway, here I am just before the finish chute at the Aspen Race for the Cure.  You can barely see the mountains through the trees. What a wonderful time!

Hi Julie and everyone else. I had an okay Monday and Tuesday (now over here). Today included another crack at open water with my full wetsuit. I ended up taking the top off for the last third of my swimming and have decided that I will just use the bibjohn for my upcoming tri. I'm sure there is something about my current swim form that is just not conducive to having that top on, but I also realize I'm not going to change my form in 2.5 weeks time. I feel really comfortable in just the bibjohn.

I was also able to ride a little more than a third of the bike course and felt comfortable with that so far. I want to get back a couple more times to do the rest of the course. It includes some pretty narrow roads and sharp turns. It also has a lot of downhill - there is 300 meters difference between the start point and the finish. The finish point is literally 40 km away from the start point, i.e., T1 and T2 are different locations.

All for now....

good job on all your thinking things through! sounds like you are going to rock this race! races with different T1 and T2 can be tricky. My daughter ended up throwing her bag to us from T1 so that she did not have to drive back there to get it. Not sure how far apart they are...but just something for you to think of so that you are not having to go and retrieve it...and at T1 all she had was her wetsuit, googles, cap and towel....just a thought! way to get those OWS in with your suit...now you see how important those pre-swims were..you have already worked out what many will be finding out the day of the swim!   look forward to all the pics I know you are going to take! - plus I either missed them or you never got to the pics of you on the new bike!...now you owe us one with you in the new bib wet suit! haha
