Best way to catch up with an old friend... a 6 mile run through the neighborhoods we grew up in. Laughing

Also, turns out I can't access google docs from here. So when I can, I'll add 1 run and 1 swim.

Baowolf - 2009-12-23 11:07 PM It turns out that 8x 1 mile repeats are not as much fun as 7x mile repeats.  Oh well 12 miles puts me at 100 percent for run and I finished swim also.

Common folks, Christmas is totally the season to get away from the noise and chaos of traditions of overconsumption and spending more money than you can afford for family members.  Lets log some miles 8).  My computer connection to the web is iffy at best so if I don't get back on before New Years, it has been fun challanging with everyone.  Lets get er done!!!

100 percent?  Why not a 105 percent?  Come on, there's still hard work to be done!Yell

Bike ride for me today.  I'm on pace to meet or exceed my goals, but it is definately going to take me to the end of the month.

Hi Frosties!

Sorry I've been AWOL... I'm back home in Kalispell, MT (which is quite a rarity for me anymore) and enjoying the company of my two daughters (one of whom is home from Basic Training for the holidays) and husband (who is on vacation). My core training is going well and I  will easily make that goal this month. Unfortunately, I think my weight loss goal was too ambitious for the holiday month. I'm still working on it, and doing much better with my eating than I would have done without the challenge, but in order to make my goal I think I might have to fast between Christmas and New Year's Eve.

Hey Frosties!

It's been a very busy week for me but I finally got a chance to sit down and log some training.  The weather is beautifully sunny here in Portland but it's still Butt a&& cold!  even so, got in a couple of runs and swims.  I should be able to make it to 105% on the run goal and should just make the swim goal if all goes well.  24hr fitness is doing some shenanigans with the gyms near me and changing them all to Super Sports (which I don't have access to) so don't know how easy it will be to swim this spring, sort of sucks.  Have a Merry Christmas everyone!!!

Well, between shoveling ungodly amounts of junk food in my mouth, I actually got on the treadmill.  It made me feel a little less guilty about the cheesecake I'm going to eat after dinner!

Easy bike for me yesterday and big "fitness marathon" at the local Y today. I did spin classes and a run plus lots of other stuff. I've now completed the bike portion of my challenge and have a few more runs to go.

Let's kick it in everyone! Go Frosties!!!

Got another 45 minutes in on the rollers, and another core workout.  Daily core for the rest of the month will have me at 100%!

Hi gang,
I thought I'd check in. Things have been crazy on this end. I've been at my parents' place since 12/21, with less access than usual. On the positive side, I received a lot of tri-related gifts that should make training in 2010 really fun. Some UnderArmour apparel, SwiMP3, and the Nike+Ipod chip thingy. On Monday night, I head back to Chicago and on Tuesday and Wednesday, I aim to finish strong. Woo!
How are you all faring?

Hey Frosties!

Looks like folks are getting some workouts done, keep it up everybody!

Kinda messed up my foot jumping over snow banks the other day, just a simple strain but enough to keep me off my feet for running for a few days. Kind of bummed about it, but better to take a short break now than closer to my marathon in 8 weeks. Not sure how my challenge will be effected. I'm going to take it slow and I hope to get some running in the next few days.

Cheers, hope all
your weekends were good!

Challenges come and go, but the marathon is your goal!  Take it wasy, listen to your body, and work back into it!  Injuries suck, but be smart.

89.7% Vixens Revisited
81.3% Frostbite Force
78.6% Evil Elves
70.4% Christmas Cookies

Get your workouts in and get them logged!  The sprint to the finish is here!  Team captains, please stay in touch if there are illness, injuries, etc on your teams!

How's everybody doing?

I have two more runs scheduled for the year which will put me one mile over my goal!  Swimming shouldn't be a problem either since 3 x 2500 with get me there.

Lets finish strong!  We've knocked the smack talking elves down, now the Vixens!

Still on track to hit 100% for the core, and will probably get slightly over 100% for the rollers.  Managed to squeeze the latest core session in during half-time of the UConn women's basketball game - no, not at the arena.  In my basement!

We can do it, team!  Just a few days left!

Got a good swim in today.  I'm really liking the Zoomers during drills.  They really help with getting the proper feel for the kick.  When I take them off and go into free sets, I can now feel turbulence against my feet both up and down.  Pretty cool.

Hi Frosties!

Got my last core workout done, so I am 100% on one part of my challenge. Yea! However even though I did a short run and my foot felt pretty good, I know I can not get 100% in my run category while I am healing this smallish injury. I should adjust my goal by 5 miles down but not sure how to do that...

Hey there Frosties...uP to 2nd place!!!  Way to go.

Back from visiting with the family in central Mississippi.  Let me just say that the folks that live in this town can cook!  I would rather eat there than any other place in the world!!!

I'm going to do my best to hit my goals for the month, but may be one swim shy.  Logged a 10 mile run yesterday.  The run felt great, but I'm a little sore today.

Hope everyone had a great holiday and didn't eat too much...b/c I certianly did!
