Extreme Veteran 461 Minnesota | Subject: RE: Nibbs XX Morning nibbins! I finished my summer class now, so I finally have a two month break before I get back at it. I am so excited to just be able to work out, hang out on BT, and well, have a life other than homework! I have successfully completed my first 2 triathlons in the last 2 weeks. My first OWS was tough. It was as if I had never swam before in my life. I then spent some time in a lake before my next one and it went so much better. I really had so much fun! Now I am training for two long course tris, one the first weekend of August and the other the last weekend of August. Catch you all later! |

Not sleeping yet.... its 9:30pm so I was using my friday night to do some inspires as in the past weeks with every thing going on I have been a little slacker than normal... But Im all caught up and managed to leave some unsolicited too Really glad the rest helped!!! I need a workout this weekend... its winter but if we get a not to freezing day tomorrow or sunday I might try a light swim... (outdoor pool) Edited by kaqphin 2008-06-27 6:34 AM |

And in sticking out the OWS... the first one can be kind of difficult! Ive been swimming all my life but my first OWS in a race was a weird nad kind if icky experience too.. I remember it well! Would jump on my 'new' bike ('86 Raleigh Signature...still have the frame in the shed) almost everyday after work and get a long ride in on Saturday...those were the years. It was great to see a U.S. win... |

I have to be a little upright in order for the reach to be right. Makes me kinda sad, but I don't know if I really should be or not. |
