I love naps.

Are you catching up on sleep this weekend at all? 

Umm not yet.. but I think after tonight i can relax more?

I even got up earlier today than I have the last two weekends (earlier does not mean early in case you were wondering) 

That's good.  I'm not really an early person.  I don't know how you do it during the TdF and how little sleep you get. 

Wish I could tell you how I do it! I dont really know... i normally need 8 hours sleep or I get crabby...

I totally agree on the post vacation laundry.

I hate leaving the house dity and coming home with a weeks worth of laundry AND a dirty house that has to be cleaned before going back to work.  Ruins the whole weeks vacation

Y'all?  What does that mean?   I never hear that word in these here Midwestern parts...

Maybe you've heard of you'uns. My grandparents always said that. You'uns coming to visit soon? But maybe that's just a Hoosier thing.

It's a Pittsburgh thing too...I grew up just north of there...drove me crazy...

Busy weekend.  Swim and bike Friday then off to my youngest's soccer tourney (state playoffs).  22 mile ride this morning then 9 miles of running, then off to day 2 of state playoffs.  Hoping to get back in shape for my next tri (Oly).  Have a great weekend everyone.  Won't be around much until Monday...

Yeah, it's a drive-by Nibbs appearance before I go to bed but:

The whole Williamsburg thing made me have a flashback to when I taught fifth grade (in Montgomery County, Maryland) and we used to take our students on an overnight field trip to Williamsburg.  It was a great trip... kids loved it... but words cannot express how much fun the chaperons had after the kids were all in bed.  Parents used to start jockeying for volunteer spots for the trip early in the year.  They also enjoyed the fact that my teammate and I hosted a margarita party for volunteers at the end of the year.  It became "famous".  We never had a problem getting parent volunteers and they used to fight over who got to be room mom.  Go figure.

Hi Mila!  (now you know why I spend so much time in the summer chaperoning for my kids' youth trips/camps......no margaritas for me, though)...

I can only imagine...

Yeah, it's fun.  We didn't drink the margaritas on the trip we stuck to beer and wine.  We just had the party at the end of the school year for anyone that volunteered for anything.  Mostly it was just an excuse for us to have a party...
