jonmetz - 2008-10-13 12:32 PM I would find it way more odd for people to be having pizza on a dance floor than pizza.
no it was pizza italicized...but I can't do that from my computer at work, plus I need an upgrade on my membership here

nah, just type [s a r c] Text you want to be red italics [/ s a r c] without the spaces in sarc.

Hey I learned something new today...thanks!

I like the vagueness of it all.

The other night in TAN #52, before it got pulled, I mentioned that I had chocolate dipped waffle cone ice cream and a big slice of New York style pizza...

and I left it like that ... was I talking ice cream and pizza or ice cream and pizza?

Wait - what makes the pizza "New York" style?

big slice of a thin crispy crust... pretty traditional in my book... maybe add a little spice to it... but just solid pizza.

You see - I wasn;t talking about foldable pizza.

Rynamite - 2008-10-13 10:11 AM I feel bad for you people that get migraines often. I've had two in my life, and they were AWFUL.

My wife had one the other week. I would NEVER wish one on anyone, but I'm sort of glad she realized how it feels now. Now she doesn't jump on me or try to talk to me or try to get me to go out with her. She knows how much it hurts and how you need to just lay there if you can...

I used to get them about once a week. But realized it was dehydration, so I drink a LOT, and they only show up once every other month or so.

Agreed.  My husband didn't understand until he had one himself.  I felt bad and tried to take care of him, but I was kind of glad that he was having the experience.  Sounds mean, but you can't describe how much it hurts until you've been there.

lvthgme - 2008-10-13 12:43 PM So, if you cut (and eat) 1/2 of an avocado on Friday...and then cut up (and eat) the other 1/2 Monday...that avocado might look/feel nasty.  Just sayin.

I have never tried to save an advocado for later.  The brown - ness causes me too be uneasy.

Try putting some lemon juice on it.  Maybe that would work.  It works for apples.

i think even with some acid three days is too long for an opened (?) avocado.

If you put lime or lemon juice on it, it wouldn't oxidize.  OR, put plastic wrap on it and make sure it covers it completely.

Same for fresh guac.  Push plastic wrap down on the surface and make sure there are no air bubbles.  No yucky bown-ness....

The avocado's fine. Just brown.

I've been running around with way too many pizza delivery boys. That doesn't mean they're always packing pizza. Sometimes it's just, you know, breadsticks or a drink.

That's right, keep it light once in a while.

Ohhh...good idea. You put that on it like, on Friday when you first cut it open, yes?

Yes, that's what I meant.  I'm pretty sure it's beyond saving now.  Wrap tight in plastic wrap, too, and that should help prevent it from getting icky and brown.

To make things bold you can use either < b > and < / b> or < s t r o n g > < / s t r o n g>

Like thus bold or strong

There are all kinds of tips... it is all very basic HTML code
