Yo yo yo punks!
I'm just in from the gym. I got up dark and early (har har!) to get there before work. I got into the pool and had to share a lane with another tri except she was very, very advanced. [Hint: She had a swim cap from Escape from Alcatraz.] I felt slooooow and cloddy like my feet were made out of lead, but I did it anyway. I'm going back after work, because I need to do my strength training and another run set.

Cheers!

Hey Punkins'.  I've not quit the challenge...I will get my miles in.  It's been raining for days here and not looking like it's going to stop until Friday.  No access to a dreadmill, so I will be putting in my miles when it clears up a bit.  I don't mind getting caught out in the rain, I just can't make myself go get started in the rain

okay so i need to adjust my goal due to being sick. i can't seem to get to feeling 100%. I missed all of last week (expect my mandatory squadron run which made me worst) and the first part of this week. so that 10 days so i requesting to have my goal change to 20 miles and hell or high water i am going to at least walk a mile a day or make my runs. and HTFU for the rest of the month.

Got in a swim lastnight, as follows:

Warm up for 10 minutes with the setting on an easy flow at 50!
Then set the speed at 65 and swim 6x45 seconds with 15" rest.
Put setting on 55 and swim 6x1:40 with 20" RI
Set on 50 and swim easy for 2 minutes to loosen from previous set.
Put setting on 60 and do ladder of 2:00, 1:45, 1:30, 1:15, 1:00. with 15" RI after each.
Setting 48 for 5-10 minutes easy swimming as cooldown..

It is kind of cool I just program the speed and duration and the pool changes speeds at the appropriate time.  One thing with the swimspa, there is no slacking towards the end of your set.  You swim the programmed speed or you end up at the back of the pool.  Time to get that swim endurance back.

Rainy, windy and cold out the past few days.  More of the same for today.  Will get a short run and weight training in this pm.
