Don't burn out.
THe accupressure was cool, they could feel the muscles relax in their hands right before I would notice the difference. That's what I'm thinking. I just do this for fun - so I want to keep it that way! So the verdict is: oly or HM, choose one. I will choose after the first HM. The one in September is called "island girl", it's run on Toronto Island and has a Hawian theme. It sounds like a lot of fun! The finisher medals are in the shape of a flip flop. This is why I'm so set on this event if I enjoy my first one...
I would do the HM JUST for this part!! I want to do one of the Disney races, they have a Princess women's only HM that awards a tiara medal. I need this. There is a women's marathon (half mary?) in San Francisco that gives out Tiffany necklaces to finishers. I NEED to do that one!!!! That sounds nice too! I think I might start choosing events based on finisher medals/prizes! |

I think I got about 2 hours of sleep, spent the majority of this morning and early afternoon in bed napping. I have no appetite at all which is really weird for me. I'm ready to start feeling better now! |

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: February Training and Nutrition Challenge It was a good race! This is the third time I've done this race and I got my best time. It has lots of short steep hills and then one long one in 5.3 miles which makes it pretty brutal. My legs are tired. I hope they are ready for the 40 mile bike ride tomorrow! |

Plus, the pharmacy lost my inhaler prescription. This means I have to make another appointment with the doctor to get a new Rx. (Don't ask. I'm annoyed enough that I was ready to begin tasering everyone....) Eh well. Here's to March being a healthier month. |

Here's to an injury/illness free March! I have been waiting for an injury/ illness free month since last spring when I had the bad asthma flare up. If anyone has any pull with the injury/ illness fairy you could tell her to send her *magic* wand where the sun doesn't shine. I want the healthy fairy to come visit me!! |

Elite 3913 far northern CA | Subject: RE: February Training and Nutrition Challenge The bike gods were not with me today. I got two flats within 4 miles of each other. The second one trashed my tire. Thankfully, I only had to schlep my bike a half mile to the bike shop to get a new tire and tube. I turned around and went home. I didn't have the energy for another flat. |

But the doctors' office has a policy that they "don't do prescriptions or refills by phone. The patient has to come in." I'm trying to figure out who to taser first, the doctors' office or the pharmacy. Eh, I'll just taser 'em both. |

So now you (presumably) get to pay another copay for a visit just to get an rx for something they already gave you but the drugstore lost. Lovely. I'm irritated with copays this week... |

So now you (presumably) get to pay another copay for a visit just to get an rx for something they already gave you but the drugstore lost. Lovely. I'm irritated with copays this week... Yeah, that makes no sense. A lot of Dr offices here won't allow the phone in for refills BUT will allow a fax from the pharmacy, expecially if it's the pharmacy error in losing the prescription. A couple weeks ago my pharmacy messed up and didn't give me a refill when I called (called for 2 meds and thought both were in the bag at the drive through, found out when I got home there was only med in the bag). Called the drug store back and they gave me the med without the copay. I just wanted to make sure it was filled and ready he recognized the inconvenience of my having to drive back there and comped the med for me.
