Sometimes I want to just post "who cares" in threads...

Careful. If you post "who gives a ____" you'll get banned Sealed

I know I am late to this convo, but I always thought the people that posted "who cares" in a thread were being jerks. If you do not care about it, then move on. Apparently it is important to someone, not sure why anyone feels the need to state that what soemone else is interested in is not important.

(and I know there is a difference between wanting too and actually doing it, just say'n)

I think this is contextual.

There are times when it is best to move on and say nothing, but there are many times when people need the feedback that it is not a big deal.

Occasionally, you need to say, "Lighten up, Francis."

(Movie reference anyone?)

I'm too nice...  I won't even say "meh".

I want to say "We get it, you do this/that".  If what they did was even remotely talented or interesting, I may take notice.  I like a good photo thread...

I guess I don't like attention a lot of times, so thread after thread of the lastest paper airplane I made to show off?  meh..(as an example)

Have I ever told you I fly jets? haha just messing with you.. I sadly Have a funny story about fighter pilots wives but it may bore you guys

I bet it is wonderfully entertaining.

I was in an auto parts store and a women came in and was talking to the guy behind the counter. She mentioned "my husband is a fighter pilot" and he is a "LCDR" no less than 12 times. She was very impressed with her husband and anyone that was listening was going to hear it.

I wonder what she would say if you gave her Lisa's reply.

yeah that was rediculous. I just read the whole post. Why follow the rules if I don't understand them? This is just the typical "I don't want to do any legwork so just have someone tell me" attitude. If you don't understand a rule then try to figure it out and ask the question to the experts. But wait it would be much easier to just not follow the rule since I don't understand it. WOW This attitude makes me want to move somewhere in the middle of nowhere and stop socializing. UGH

Lisa I am sorry you had to be attacked like that. You don't deserve that.

It's the same one who started that Splenda thread.  I only had to read about 2 posts in there to realize it was pointless to argue with that person.
