GRRRrrr Good news is I kick a$$ed on the treadmill today with a 31k for 94%! 20k left which I will get rid of tommorow. All of those that cannot finish because of sickness, dont feel bad your health IS more important than this challenge. Tommorrow last day give it all you got and can! |

Extreme Veteran 462 Brisbane QLD | Subject: RE: Loving every mile aka L.E.M. Just had a look at our total folks. We're sitting at 102.8%!!!
NOT everyone has completed their distances yet (I have about 9 hours left this month to run 1.2km) Will try and do a 5km run this arvo to finish it off nicely.
Hope you're all plugging away at those last few kms! |

Master 1748 Port Moody, BC | Subject: RE: Loving every mile aka L.E.M. Hey out of town...stupid job (anyone hiring?) I finished up on Monday with a little 10 K run, not too fast but it was pretty hard considering we got a whack-load-o-snow! Any ways, I was pretty happy with my preformance, sorry I wasn't around the team thread to help rile everyone up into a tizzy, I should be back in town tomorrow so I will check out the past 1.5 weeks to see what I've been missing out on. Good job everyone, it looks like we did pretty awesome for the overall goals (even better since we had the most mileage out of all the other teams!!) |

Cycling Guru 15134 Fulton, MD | Subject: RE: Loving every mile aka L.E.M. I got another 8.2 in this morning at 7:07 pace. Finished up the month on a nice note! Congrats everyone, kick azz work on getting there! And for those not quite finished ..... there are still 14 hours left in the day here on the East Coast!! Edit: But I also don't know how we can be above 100% officially when we still have 3 members that have not finished their goals. Spreadsheet error there ....... Edited by Daremo 2008-01-31 9:11 AM |

They made an announcement that we could turn the amp up to 11. (OK... actually, Dee said last week that individuals could get up to 120%) |

TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Loving every mile aka L.E.M. January Challenge Final Update (aka, The World According to Beth) You guys rock! Funky-Chrono-Monkeys of the Frozen Cinder Tundra – Captain Bluejack maybe the only thing we know for sure is this what I do know, is that this team kicked some monkee booty! Awesome job of inspiring each other and keeping things going! Flying Fish – Captain Kendra Yeah, and hmmm, does anyone else find this disturbing? This team has done an awesome job of inspiring each other – they’ve been through sickness, broken down cars, latex vs silicone and well, they still keep swimming! Team Ride Lots – Captain Scott Eat your Loblolly and ride your trainer while visiting BT and you too shall be a Master – muwahahaha! Loving Every Mile – L.E.M. - Captain Lisa Who’s your Marmadaddy? – Captain Sal Dexter had a most excellent challenge, complete with the Freezeroo #4 Hearnish 10K and the discovery that V8 tastes good with vodka Wet and Wild – Captain JeniWow, so many ways that life can get in the way of training, but this team just continues to persevere! Hat’s off to Stuart (nevergivin) for being the first on the team to reach 120%. They are a team of spirit and inspiration! So many images come to mind when one says – ‘wet and wild’, LOL here’s one that seems to fit Twisted Blisters – Captain Beth Where to start????? Despite all odds, bears, broken ribs, chilling temperatures, radical job changes, new businesses, babies…………somehow, this team remained the chattiest of the challenge teams – hmmmm, who knows, this could even overflow to their standings in the actual challenge You ain’t heavy, you’re my blister – LOL
Scrambled Legs – Captain 1for1 “THIS IS WHY I LOVE CHALLENGES... New Friends, Motivation, Meeting a goal that I never thought I would see me set, and finding ways to push and know I can push harder. “ all we know, is that they are not a bunch of dancing chickens! Team T.I.T.S – Captain Max (aka keeper of the T.I.T.S)Yep, this sums it up! “Our T.I.T.S. are getting perkier, and more voluminous with each passing day. It must be the careful attention that we are giving to our individual and collective T.I.T.S.” There were some treats offered There were folks that were able ride in spite of a hangover, some even put in a 4 hour drainer ride I hope you all enjoyed the challenge as much as Dee and I did! drum roll please! and the winner is??????? |
