Nicole83 - 2010-06-15 10:00 AM Kelli!  *drool*  Awesome blog, thanks for the link!

I love cooking too, and will definately be stealing some of those recipes.

Good morning gang.  I actually have to work today, so I won't be nearly as entertaining as I was yesterday... but if you have a chance check out my TL and give me your oponion on my entry yesterday.  Sometimes things that sound great in my brain make other people look at me like I've sprouted an extra nipple out of my forehead, so I need feedback.

Nicole, I don't think any of the guys are going to be able to respond after reading that entry.  Their hands are busy protecting their dingleberrys and unable to type at the moment.  I say GO FOR IT!  I'm still laughing.  I bet the nurses at the ED have that one logged into their funny album as well.

All of their dingelberries are safe, they are all far to far away to have to worry about the catastrophe that is a drunk Nicole.

And it really really was hilarious... you know, months later once everything was healed.

I think I'm going to have to call the book "After the Fact"

I'm really curious about this whole belly button phenomenon... how did that happen?

Betsy0706 - 2010-06-15 12:16 PM Humm...

- I didn't drink until I was 21 (and I was in a sorority in college).
- I can touch my nose with my tongue
- My belly button used to be an outie and now it's an innie

Yes, I know...pretty boring!

Nik & I have an opportunity to go to the College World Series...would ultimately be a "happy anniversary to us" trip...PLUS the Gators are in it and it's the last year at Rosenblatt. The only sticking point is paying the airfare which is a bit high right now. Everything else is paid for, though, thanks to some very generous friends.

So, mentor group, what say you?

I'm easily convinced to do most anything, and this seems like a "duh" question.  Go, for sure.

Plus I *think* (not sure) but the best college in the universe might be going to the WS too... you know, Florida State.

Hm, I wonder what will happen if/when you get pregnant?  You will have to keep me posted, I now have morbid belly button curiousity.

And no, of course you're not as old as Justin.  You don't remember the covered wagon days of your childhood.

Ewww that's gross!
I used to call mine an evenie because it didn't go out or in.  So when I got pregnant it didn't poke out much since it didn't go in much to begin with but now it goes in.  I think the superfluous squish on my belly has something to do with that.

Betsy, I too know the feeling of having an outie,

Mine was an umbilical hernia from highland games, we called him Kuato (the parasitic twin) fromTotal Recall and would draw a face on him in the beer gardens. I could tuck him back inside and after a few drink I would "birth" him back out again on command. good times... Now I have an 8"x8" piece of stainless steel mesh and Kuato is no more, Just looks like a cesaerian scar a little too high. I miss the free rounds he got me...

Haha, I know I know.

I'm still traumatized that they sucked out my appendix thru my button, so anything belly button related is espeically upsetting.

Hey, hey, hey... there are peeps in here older than I am!!!   lol!

The good news: A/C is repaired, the bad news: it was at the cost of the Anniversary weekend at La Toretta resort.  In an effort not to over extend ourselves, we decided to cancel the weekend so that paying for the stupid AC repair and next weekend's lil excursion to Lubbock did not put too much stress on our finances.  We did decide to simply reschedule so that we will still have our time together (sans dogs & kids).

For those that asked, our official anniversary day is June 23rd.  We have been together for 17.5 yrs and married 15.

Nik & Tif... go to the CWS~!

All the weird facts about you peeps... very interesting!  The winner... might be Betsy and her imploding (???) belly button...

I turned 21 in a dry country (Saudi Arabia during Desert Storm)...
My name is Justin Case.... my dad, "Just in case it's a boy what should we name him?" ah ha... Justin Case....

Justin, I am sorry you guys had to cancel your anniversary   Our A/C went out 4 times before we replaced the unit so we know your woes.  Hope this is the only fix you have for a while.

On a similar note the A/C in our van went out and needs a new clutch.  The dealership wanted $800 we have another quote from a reliable guy who used to work on our cars for $500 so after a week of suffering the heat we are hoping to have it fixed tomorrow.

I just hate it when stuff breaks down!

No worries Darlin'  I love my age and wouldn't change it for anything.  Well.... maybe I'd knock off a couple of years but you couldn't pay me enough money to be 20something again.
