As much as I'd like to turn the page, hard to pass up fresh ribbon on the XC trails! 25K session over at William O'Brien today. Soft corduroy in many spots. Gonna be another banner week for ski. Poor trainer gathering dust...

It's March for cryin out loud!  I get that we will have snow, but how about some warmth?

My dad is in Arizona for the winter and ready to head back with his motorhome.  We suggested he make the drive back take a few weeks, because there's no way he will be able to park the rig in his back yard.  I sent him this picture as proof, taken this morning

Unfortunately you might be adding another 6-8" on top of that by Wednesday... yes, now I'm whining!

Foggy

Good, back to the whining.

The snow pile is looking a little anemic...

so i was going to try and get an outside ride in today.  I thought it was going to rain today, but did not expect this cold damp drip all day long.  It looks like another week on the trainer.

* Snow and ice accumulation: 10 to 14 inches of snow is expected
by Wednesday late afternoon... with ice accumulations up to tenth
of an inch.

This is what we're getting up north.   This is pay-back for the early spring we had last year.

Yuck!  I here I was going to complain about our 1-3 expected.  Hope it doesn't materialize for any of us.

Even if we do get an inch or two it should be gone by Thursday if it rains on top of it... At least that's what I'm hoping for. But this is really starting to get old...

I am happy we are below "the line" and only got about an inch, which might be up to about 2 by the time I get home.  I was surprised that my commute wasn't too bad.   This doesn't mean in any way that I don't think this weather sucks, because it so does.  I am kicking myself for not taking my bike out on Saturday!  At least I might get more use out of the mountain bike...

Seriously Minnesota.  This is overboard, is there new management up there?  Is it that there was a reorg and now the snow queen is in charge?  Where can I get an RMA number for all this snow?  I didn't order this and it just isn't a nice "Gift".  And by the way, can we get some snow plowing if we get snow?  That would be extra nice, it's just not fair to give one and withhold the other.

Yep, Apocalypse in my neighborhood last night.  Two transformers blew, power out all night, kids freaking out.  Needless to say, no sleep, finally got to sleep, and 4:20 A.M. POW power came back on along with the lights, a TV, various other beeping and electronic devices..

Missed the gym this morning, I will be hitting Williston for a good long swim after work..

There's gotta be at least 6+ inches of the sludgiest, heaviest, wettest snow I've ever seen in Plymouth!  YUCK!  Thankfully, it's all sorta melting into this weird, thick, sticky, gross mess--and maybe it'll melt away by the weekend!

I ended up doing a hill work out on a treadmill, yuck.  I have 7" of liquid snow on the driveway.  I gave up and only shoveled half.

I refuse to shovel or snowblow this late in the season.  Let God (or Mother Nature) take care of it.  He (she) put it there, and will take it away soon enough.

That's great until I high center the car on the crud at the end of the driveway.  Here's to lots of sun today.
