I can't say that I LOVE being on my bike yet. I do really enjoy biking, but it does take a long time and certain body parts get really sore and my knees ache the following day. But except for all that, I could learn to enjoy biking even more.

I have been purposely taking it very easy on my trainer rides this month in order to avoid knee problems that have plagued me in the past when I mixed running and cycling. I know my leg muscles are weak and that my left leg is stronger than my right leg (did single leg lifts on a mix of weight machines and it was very obvious ). If your legs are hurting post workout, dial it back some and see what happens. Recruiting the necessary support muscles takes time. |
