I got my long run in this morning, which added another 15 miles toward my LOVE goal.  That's the longest I've ever run, so I'm feeling pretty good about my marathon training!  And with that, I think I'm pretty much caught up to where I need to be in order to get to my goal by the end of the month.  I had a pretty aggressive goal, so it'll take me until the last days to get it, but it's definitely doable!

Now time for my post-run nap!

I've made my goal and am a little bit over.  102%, I think.  I feel like I sandbagged my goal, but a lot of my LOVE miles were on the weekend that I didn't leave town because my flight was canceled. 

I can't say that I LOVE being on my bike yet.  I do really enjoy biking, but it does take a long time and certain body parts get really sore and my knees ache the following day.  But except for all that, I could learn to enjoy biking even more.

Nice job Leah!!! I hear you on the sore body parts. I have been purposely taking it very easy on my trainer rides this month in order to avoid knee problems that have plagued me in the past when I mixed running and cycling. I know my leg muscles are weak and that my left leg is stronger than my right leg (did single leg lifts on a mix of weight machines and it was very obvious). If your legs are hurting post workout, dial it back some and see what happens. Recruiting the necessary support muscles takes time.

I got away for a quick overnight anniversary celebration; biked in the morning before we left town. It's been so long since I've biked outside or ran that my Garmin has apparently lost its sense of day and time!

Yeah, we signed up with a personal trainer for the next year (my hubby and I) and he is kicking our butts.

Great job on reaching goal and going over.  You may want to look into a better seat for the sore body parts.  It made a world of difference for me when I was training for my centrury.

We spent the day on the motorcycle, but when we got home we quickly went to the gym and I got in some swimming.  I only did 600 so I feel like that is only half a session.  I usually like to do 1200 minimum, but my arms were like rubber.  I'll be going again in the morning, so I'll get my full session in tomorrow.  Hope that everyone had a great weekend.

Good to hear everyone's had a pretty good weekend!  Happy Anniversary Nicole, and congrats to everyone who's already made all their goals.

I did my usual Sunday morning run with my tri club this morning - 6 miles of recovery LOVE running Smile  I just actually realized that this week will be pretty run-heavy for me since I have 2 extra social runs this week on top of my Tuesday speed session, Thurs tempo run, & Sat long run.  Tomorrow night the marathon training program I'm doing is having a kick-off party which involves a 3-mile fun run, some free beer, and free shirts.  Friday my friends are doing a bar run where we run from bar to bar and take a shot at every bar.  So actually, it looks likely that I'll be going over my goal this month after all!
