The agreement has always been that as long as I pay for his toys (phone, computer, etc.), I could request (and be given) access at any time. It has made him nervous a few times, but all in all what I have seen is somewhat inappropriate, but not overly so. |

You take a pic and then send it and it only shows for a split second on the other end then it's gone from both ends. Um...this is an awful idea. And the kids use it to send inappropriate pics. They think it's okay because it disappears ....I'm sure it's stored somewhere. My daughter uses it a lot to make stupid faces or when she looks awful to send to her friends (I'm sure it's used other ways too....I'm not that naive). She tells me some of the stuff she's been sent. Horrific!!' Is it necessary for your wife to be their "friends". I assume her FB page is more career than personal. If so then the more the merrier and it means nothing. But for someone's personal page ....I'd never friend just one of a couple if I met them both. I might friend the female if we hit it off ....but never just the male. jclarke, Case in point. I posted a semi serious FB question, and all TAN does is talk Nutella and other various food product... Failed again. So don't feel like you failed TAN! It has a mind of it's own. I try to not over think Facebook evre it fun, and light hearted for me so.......nothing bothers me nor do I pay all that much attention to things there. I do worry about the day I WILL have to deny my childs friendship!!! Wow, never thought about that one! Right?!? There is nothing there I want them so see and in all honesty I don't want to be that involved in their life either. Yeah, there could be things posted by HS/College kids that may be better left a secret to you. Funny when we were all young and did dtupid things, we did the walk or shame the next day or were like wow that was a "crazy" night. Now kids do it, post and relive it FOR ALL to see......not bright. Before my children are of that age, we are just going to move to a deserted island/area and have no technology. My easy solution to keep these sorts of things from worrying me! |

It's easy to hit "send" on a phone (yeah, I know frist hand). But would be people be just as comfortable printing them out and handing them to a person first hand? Probably not. |

I got into the Alcatraz lottery and I have till today to sign up for the race or not or I lose my spot. $400 for an oly-ish race. Plus travel. Yikes. I'm not doing an expensive long race next year, so this could be my "treat" race. And now I'm saving $500 a month on insurance, so I have the money... But still. |

My son was told he had to have and keep me as a friend on his FB when he signed up a few years ago, mostly so I could keep an eye on things. There have been a few things that is was like "meh, he is a teenager, chill mom" but nothing too bad. I am sure in the near future I am going to have to take him off my news feed cause there are things I just don't want to know! |

I would never add coworkers or most family that would be offended. I will not sensor for anyone. My mom is on my list but She knows I am off the wall and say inappropriate things. Where do you think I learned it from? No ex boyfriends either. So e people dont get that peek into my every day silliness and life. It is your mad photo skills and high megapixel content that overwhelm my puny gen 1 Ipad. I rarely post anything myself. My daughters post pictures which are the main attraction for me.
