I don't know.  Personally I have issues reneging on an already accepted offer.  This company was the fastest to act and respond.  I really liked the longer term possibilities of possible presidencey of the company in 5 or 6 years.

The 2nd offer has equal salary, better benefits but is a large corporation that will force me to move again in possibly 18 - 24 months and I HATE moving.

The thing that scares me the most is the relocation and selling our house.  I would get more help from the 2nd offer but I really don't like the job responsibilities.  They are the same as the one I most recently had (and lost) and was the reason why I was looking in the first place!  So, should I do something that I'd be really happy with but will take a little chunk financially short term or go with something I should "tolerate" for a while and bank on a "promise" of advancement that I know from too many times doesn't mean squat in corporate America?

I second the vote to take the happy route.

Work is nucking futz for me still.  I can't remember the last time I strung together three weeks of this type of non stop high volume work.  Fortunately, it looks like business will stay busy as I have that whole wedding thing to pay for in ONLY 101 DAYS!!!

What ch'all got on tap for the weekend? I have the next race in the series - lets see if I can get over 8 miles - we'll see how the belly holds up.

Peter - you were going to bestow your wisdom and knowledge and experiences with a couch coach.

I am sad today  because I confirmed I know the GF (I dated her mother about 10 years ago) of the shooter at NIU - she's a good kid  and IMHO her family is just as much victims as the rest of them.. may they all find peace......

Awww...thank you.  I'll do the race report once I get the "official" time.  I was so excited to even finish (I had a really BAD last mile) that I forgot to memorize the last 2 digits (seconds) of my time.  It was 1:55:??

Andria, I'm so proud of you for the run!!!  10 miles is HUGE!  How do you feel today?  Sounds like you really pushed your body, make sure to eat well today to ensure your body rebuilds itself even stronger. 

Now we're just waiting for Dave to check in with the results of his race today!

No race for me this weekend.  Ran yestereday and today.  Needed a little sanity break - we've been "de-cluttering" our house and getting lots of painting and the sorts done!  Gotta get it ready as best we can for sale!

Can't wait to read the race reports for Dave and Andria!

Draft race  report is written .. took me two days to to get computer working again - anway..

Swim- 700 yards in 10 min

Bike 6.12 miles in 20 minutes - PB for series

Run 1.56 in 15 minutes - PB for series

Overall - 8.072 total miles -  Goal was 8 miles - pretty happy!

ALso not DFL in AG - when offical results are in I'll complete the RR

Great job Dave - you beat your goal!
