Whats on tap for the weekend kids?

I'm doing a long run, somewhere between 2 and 5 hours.  depends on footing and well, my energy  

Was going to take The Boy to his first ever Monster Truck Show, but I've decided to boycott Ticketmaster.  Tickets were $37..okay not bad...after Ticketmaster fees/additional taxes/surcharges/etc it was $62!!!  It's not the $$$ but the principal,  that amounts to a 68% tax on my ticket prices..no thanks...we'll go for a Duty Free train ride instead...

Oh you meant training???  I need 2 hours to hit plan for 2nd week in a row...hopefully some of that may be Purple!

It cost me almost $200 to see the Globetrotters with Matt. Ticketmaster fees are way out of control!! Curly and Meadowlark put on a much better show!!!

I was going to do a Harry Potter marathon on the trainer but will not have enough time tomorrow so I think a 2 hr run may be in order. E-pace!!

I'm riding in the morning with a group of peeps from work and fellow triathletes.  Tam will be riding too.  I hope to keep up the pace with her.. Its going to be an easy ride fo'sho'.

 I will definitely get in at least 36-40 miles in the morning.   I'm beginning to like riding now that I found a seat to be comfy with.  hmm imagine that.  . . .   . . 

Oh, I forgot to mention..

I'm soo proud of our lil group...We are keeping the mentor thing going.  I feel a bit mented.

Does that mean if this project failed, we would have been "de-mented"? 

That didn't last long.  I was supposed to do a 90 minute ride today.  I threw in the Aero Base Builder spinerval and quit after 30 minutes.  I just didn't have the desire to keep going.

I did go out and do my 15' t-run afterwards though.  So, I guess that's something.

Think of it as "Altitude Training"!! 

BTW - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! 

I logged my long run today Saturday...  almost 15 miles...    and tomorrow I'll dust my bike shoes and go for a little climb..   wohoo!!

I had a great ride planned with the hubby...change of plans.  The little one and I have the flu.  No fun!  I rode anyway.  Probably shouldn't have, but I can't spend a beautiful day stuck inside.  I feel so much better

 May I suggest if you haven't gotten a flu shot...GET ONE!  It's not too late.
