Exciting news for my morning, my Dad has ordered me a birthday gift and I am getting some new sunglasses for my bike, a new bike jersey (in red, yay, faster!), and some super super cute arm warmers from sugoi with hearts all over them. Now I can't wait for the winter here so I can wear them! That will get me out of bed on the cold dark mornings! Awsome! Happy early birthday! |

No... not yet. Fortunately I have some time, but I'd like to have it out of the way, you know? I don't want my dress for my brother's wedding to be a last second, panic purchase. I think part of my problem is that I'm just not a "dress person" so it's hard to see me in any dress... |

Said she rode on aerobars without problems. SHe knows someone who did have carpal tunnel and said that friend was off the bike for a couple months |

So, this is going to be an evening wedding and the reception will be at the historical society. I think she's going with a black and white theme and the bridesmaid dresses are along those color lines (or lack of color). Should I avoid a black and white dress? |

Elite 2640 Ontario, Canada | Subject: RE: February Training and Nutrition Challenge I did a 6km run yesterday and it caused some itching in my brister prone area (I was wearing double walled socks). Today the skin in the area shifted after a 5km run... I have a half marathon in May and am very worried about this. Is there anything I can do to toughen up the area? No preventative measures are working and I'm already registered for this event. I don't want to run through bleeding feet repeatedly because of potential infection. |

My shoes were selected at a running store where they help you choose. I need arch support because of my flat feet. I have some cheap shoes that have no arch and don't cut up my feet, but I get tendon/muscle issues instead. I have used body glide but I find that it softens my skin, making matters worse. I haven't tried changing the lacing system... I will look into it! |

The Army tells you to use white/surgical/methylated spirits to toughen the skin on your feet and prevent blistering in boots. Might be worth a shot....? |

Well, considering I was wondering if burning the area a little bit would help... I like it! Do they say to soak the feet (and for how long?) or just rub it on (and how often?). Thanks for the new idea! I used to be so proud of my feet, so soft and callus free. Bring on the tough skin! |

What did you schedule today? I looked over some of the older workouts and did parts from them. Mostly upper body, core and a little bit of quads. I used to avoid that side of the weight room....now if I'm doing weights the side with the plates and benches is preferred to the oddball machines that do most of the work. |
