Woo hoo I pasted the team table. How come sometimes you do something on a computer and it works, and other times it doesn't? Or maybe it's just me Tongue out

Have a great afternoon -- I've GOT to get back to work. My 2 15 minute breaks fly by on BT....

Susan....Darn computers have a mind of their own...thought you would get a kick out of this little toon that I doctored for you! have a good day! run run run! )

hehe!

I LIKE it!! But if I'm going to be kicking butt, can I have a cuter/sexier outfit?  Just watched Project Runway w/ the WWE girls.  I wanna look like that!

Yeah, glad Chris won that one.  Christian's outfit - leather and lace - was awesome too!  Loved the way he pouted when he didn't win

ran today, but not twice. i got on a baking binge, and have been in the kitchen a lot.
i made two different kinds of cookies, bread, cinnamon rolls, and apple crisp. so far the only thing i've touched though is the apple crisp. i have a weakness.
going to log my run, then i'll update the spreadsheet.

Way to get another run down...Have a great evening and STAY AWAY FROM THE KITCHEN...at least the GOODIES! )

Yikes! I can't keep up with this group. Page 11 already?

Keep it up. Everyone seems really motivated.

Yeah, and the scary thing is --> They got to page 11, even though Beth hasn't been online much! Good thing there's no post padding war competition this month! (Hm, usually, I'd blame 10 of the 11 pages on Beth. But if she's not here, who might be responsible for all these post paddings posts? Hmmmmmmmm!) Chatter on "Scissor Runners." I love a good post padding conversation.

LOL

Like I said in the Blisters thread, I may have met my match!

Looks like everyone is running and running

I do have one run in, but haven't had time to update the spreadsheet - I'll probably do that this weekend.

I'll get at least one more in this week - next week should be better as I will know my way around a bit more

Howdy Team - are there any east coasters out there?

I'm enjoying the unseasonably warm weather. Yesterday we set a new temp record of 74. Unfortunately I didn't get out to play in it.

Today I swam 2000m and work on some open turn drills. Tomorrow morning I'll run another 3.4 miles.

I'm an east coaster.  Got stuck in traffic this morning, though, so I'm on a little later than normal.

Thanks Nicole for the link. Any swimming tips you can pass on to this ole girl who is trying to build up her endurance would be great! I am a total newbie to laps....but lived in a pool! so I am a fairly good swimmer...just no endurance and no speed! hehe

I've got a great workout schedule for increasing endurance. It's called 0-1650 in 6 weeks:

Week 1 (x 3 days): (700m)
100m x 4 (12 breath rest)
50m x 4 (8 breath rest)
25m x 4 (4 breath rest)

Week 2 (x 3 days): (900m)
200m (12 breath rest)
100m x 4 (10 breath rest)
50m x 4 (6 breath rest)
25m x 4 (4 breath rest)

Week 3 (x 3 days): (1250m)
400m (12 breath rest)
100m x 4 (8 breath rest)
50m x 6 (4 breath rest)
25m x 6 (4 breath rest)

Week 4 (x 3 days): (1500m)
600m (10 breath rest)
300m (8 breath rest)
100m x 4 (6 breath rest)
50m x 4 (4 breath rest)

Week 5 (x 3 days): (1600m)
1000m (8 breath rest)
100m x 4 (4 breath rest)
50m x 4 (4 breath rest)

Week 6 (x 2 days): (1650m)
1200m (6 breath rest)
200m (4 breath rest)
100m (4 breath rest)
50m x 3 (4 breath rest)

Week 6 (day 3):
1650m straight!

I typically swim only 2x/week so it took me longer to go through the plan. For me the hardest step was going from week 4 (600m straight) to week 5 (1000m straight). I think I needed to do some extra swims at week 4 and may have thrown in a day where I did 800m straight.
