Doesn't mixing two peaches make green? Undecided

Good job

bondgirl - 2008-11-10 9:09 AM Sorry folks...absolutely beautiful day here today..it's late Spring. I tried to pretend that my sore throat was gone today and went for an easy 30 run/walk. It turned into 40 minutes and I felt like I could go on forever. But somewhere buried deep, deep, deeeep inside must be a wise person and I turned around and came home. I enjoyed myself enormously...what sore throat?

Glad to hear you're feeling better!

Whew...a bit sore after yesterday's half marathon. Went for a 30 min walk this morning and I am hoping that helps take some of the muscle soreness away!

Looks like everyone got their peach on the weekend! Great job team!

I'm feeling very peachy for a Monday:

20 min rowing - interverals

20 min strength: back extensions, sit-ups and wall ball squats.

Nothing tri-specific but at least I'm moving!

aquagirl - 2008-11-09 10:21 AM Hi all! Happy Sunday...well to tell the truth I went to a formal gala last night with hubby and drank a little too much Pint Noir! Will caffeinate myself and then suffer through my long run. Wish me luck, I'll need it.
Well...the wine may have dehydrated you but on a positive note...drinking red wine is very beneficial for you heart! Oh ya, and I got a GREEN today...I ran a 1/2 mary!

Nice job on the half PR

I ran this morning!   My run intervals have changed from run 3 mins, walk 1 to run 4 mins, walk 1!  It is pretty killer.  It wasn't bad until the last run interval where I was going up a slight incline all the way and then a bigger incline.  Damn those hills!

 I'm all peachy peach.

Sunday:

I wasn't able to do the walk/jog as planned... too windy for the kidlings outside (jogging stroller rain cover is on it's way).

but I did an indoor hour long walk instead!

Looking forward to today - heading out shortly!

Hey Everyone - I think I have beat the majority of the cold I had over the weekend. Didn't do much training but I got 1 hour walks in both days. Something is better than nothing - spent most of the weekend in bed. I however, have found out that I am allergic to the fragrance or the soap they use to wash my hotel sheets so I am  battling quite the allergic reaction. Nothing major - the legs itch and are red with a rash but hopefully it will be gone in a few days.

Go Peach!!

Nice job. I always struggle the second half of a run when I change the run:walk interval. It always seems to be going great and then my legs start to protest, it does get better though...then its time to change again!

Did chest, back and abs today and hopped on the trainer for 30 minutes after work.

I ran a 5k with my sister this weekend (she's new to running).  I've been trying to heal a hurt hamstring and have only run about 3 times in the past three months.  I can't wait to be in good running shape again. I miss it so much especially during this time of the year.  Woe is me Cry he he

Have a good night everyone!

It does seem endless.  Struggle, get better, make routine harder, struggle, get better, etc.

Hi All...

It was a typical Monday! I was crazy busy at work. I got my walk in this morning and then did some upper body strength training at the gym after work.

I finally figured out how to add my numbers to the spreadsheet. Sometimes it just takes me a bit to catch on! 705 peach minutes for week one of November!

Planning on running hills tomorrow night with a friend!
Happy Monday!

30 min walk/jog.

I finally moved beyond the 5 min jog  in my walk/jog program.  I did a 7 minute jog! (this must sound so crazy small to you!!!). Truth is though it was HARD - I really had to push for it.  You'll have to keep your eye out for me when I make it to jogging for 30 min straight!!!!

We all started with something crazy small. Well done on the progression and keep at it. It will get better.

Oh, and then a massage, which may have been the most torture for the day. Tender spotsCry.LOL

I took some advice from my fellow peachers and rode 30 mins on the trainer this morning to help with my recovery from Sunday's 1/2 mary. My legs are feeling much better than they did yesterday.

I'm running downtown after work tonight with a friend and then it's time to relax on the couch to Biggest Loser!
