For all of us sickies, here's the word from Dee on adjusting goals:

Go ahead and revise your goals. For example, if you missed 6 days due to being sick: there 25 days in December where you could work out, so your goal would become:
25 days /31 days total = new percentage
Then just multiply your original goal time that new percentage.

I'm expecting to lose about 4 days.

Yes, if you have been sick or injured, you may revise your goals as follows:

First do this:
(31 Days total) - (# of days that you were out due to injury) = (# days that you could work out)

Then:
Original goal x (# days that you could work out) / (31) = new goal.

For example, say your original goal was 25 miles, but you lost 10 days due to injury:
31 - 10 = 21 days that you could work out

25 miles x ( 21 / 31) = 16.9 miles revised goal

I consider myself better starting yesterday.  I revised my goal according to directions and I am currently at 50%.  To reach my goal I need to put in 9 more morning workouts this month...which is doable.

I hope everyone is doing well.

Dee, thanks so much for the directions on how to revise our goals for illness.

Team, I may have to do so since this ugly nasty virus seems to have infected several of us, myself included! Ewww!

I'm slowly getting better--the cough seems to come and go, but the, um, gooey stuff seems to be running the rainbow of colors and consistencies. Ewww indeed!

I am starting to feel better, but chose not to go to church and infect my entire congregation 4 days before Christmas!  However, since I know my rec center is a "germ-factory" I had no problem going for the last couple of days!  I actually feel pretty good when I'm working out...it's the hours after that kill me.  Got lots of rest over the weekend and only have a few short errands on Monday!  Can't wait until Christmas...I'm in charge of Christmas Eve dinner.

Hi Knockers! Congrats on everyone knocking more workouts out.

I'm about the same--cough cough rainbow--but feel a little better and was able to participate in my tri club's annual charity SANTA SPEEDO RUN!

We tear down a major busy shopping street in our Speedos, singing Christmas carols and yelling, "IT'S FOR THE CHILDREN!" while everyone gawks and takes pictures of the spectacle.

(We provide money and equipment for an at-risk children's organization that trains them in tri)

I'm feeling a bit better today: congestion is minimal and my breathing is much better. Still, my head is a bit foggy. I'm back at work but not quite ready to restart working out. I hope to be back at it this week!

I didn't bring a camera, but lots of others did, so hopefully I'll be able to post some shots

My costume was not as exciting this year as last (avatar

No promises, but people who PM me addresses may receive some of my holiday baking.

It is gluten free...and it is delicious(as hard as that is to believe, it's true). I have converted many GF skeptics.

I've posted my favorite holiday dessert recipe on my blog.  It's Egg Nog Bread Pudding and serves a lot (for those of you cooking Christmas Dinners.)  It's not gluten-free, fat-free, carb-free or ANYTHING!  It's just some yummy deliciousness for your tummy!

Deliciousness is the most important factor-everything else is secondary.

I'm pretty sure it stops at 100%, but we should definitely encourage all Knockers to keep knocking those workouts out so we can come in at our deserved #1 spot! No more losing team for me or any other Knockers who have been knocked out time and time again!

That's what I was thinking...with so many of you being sick throughout this challenge I was hoping maybe I could help!  It seems like everyone ~ everywhere is sick!
