I hope it's nothing too serious. I'm running scans on machines to make sure the vulnerabilities were removed from them so they don't get kicked off the network. Basically I start a program then watch paint dry until it's done, then I send the report to the people that need to fix the machines. Super suck. Sorry this is how youre spending your Saturday. BTW though, I like the new sig line. You either have the biggest insprational quote book in the world or you should write one. I love going out and finding new quotes! I have pages and pages of them saved here at work and at home. All of the inspires I have sent this month I have chosen that morning. They were all something that spoke to me at the time. I couldn't map out ahead of time what I wanted to say because it just didn't feel right to me. A lot of what I sent I didn't already have saved either. I would go on a search in the morning to find something for that day. You think I'm weird now, huh? I think it's great...you are great to share the quotes with us! Thanks Dee Quote Ann found --> They say motivation doesn't last, well neither does bathing that's why we recommend it daily. LOL That one made me chuckle ... so true!! Too bad I came from the Y into work. I smell like sweat and chlorine right now. That will teach them to call me in on my day off. |

Elite 4201 washington state | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are taking off the pounds in February part 2!!! Well, I am off to enjoy the beautiful day! A trip to the LBS, maybe a short swim, then jog 7 miles which is my long run. Yesterday was my long bike... 1 1/2 hour. I don't think I am supposed to do them two days in a row. But that's the way it works out this week. Oh well, I certainly don't feel too bad after yesterday's ride. See you all later! |

Hopefully my lady will be feeling better so I can take her out tomorrow. I'm hoping to treat her to a nice lunch somewhere downtown with a little shopping and sight seeing. I've been wanting to take her to the Cabrillo Monument for years but we haven't gotten around to it yet... |

It's a most welcome sight to see from the perspective of a ship coming into port, I can tell you that for sure! |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are taking off the pounds in February part 2!!! My DH (who sings only so so) is off to practice with a band (he is singing) of old college buddies. To give you an idea of how good they are, they named THEMSELVES "The Suffering Bastards". I chose to stay home this evening to rest up for tomorrows mud pit. I didn't last too long today in the mud due to previously mentioned butt-kicking run. |

I've been wanting to be in a band again for a long time, but I can never find other folks to jam with. I do have one friend close by who plays guitar and owns drums (I think) so maybe we can make his neighbors deaf in the near future. |

Liquid courage DEFINITELY helps musical talent! At least one's perception of it I play rhythm guitar adequately, bass so-so, and I can fake my way through drums as long as the song isn't too hard. Basically I just like to make noise! |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: The Ghoulies are taking off the pounds in February part 2!!! I am off. going to chat with some folks long distance, feed the beasts and then myself then enjoy the evening. Sign of spring: Saw some turtles sitting on a log in our pond. If it gets cold they'll just go down in the mud again but they never poke all the way out of the water until it is warm enough. YEA! Also the tom turkeys are strutting about with their tails up and wings down looking like bros in the hood trying to catch the ladies eye. Spring is defiantly in the air. |

Hubby and I have a funny story about it. Care to share??? Also, I hope you have a nice time at the fishing and beer thing, even though you don't fish or drink beer. At least you'll be amongst friends! It might be funnier for us than anyone else. Before first date hubby and I worked at the same place in San Francisco. He finally asked me out for a weekend that I was going to San Diego (was helping a friend move down there and was considering moving there myself.) I said I would be out of town, but maybe when i get back. He said okay, we'll do it when you get back. so, I get back from my weekend and he doesn't even talk to me all week at work. I'm like WTF!! So on Friday my sister and I decide we are going to go to the circus on Saturday. I'm telling my supervisor all about the circus plans when in walks hubby. He overhears the plans and says that would be cool to do. I say "You can join us if you want." and now he claims that I invited him out on our first date. LOL the date lasted 3 days and turned into 27 years of marriage so far. Edited by kns57 2010-02-20 3:32 PM |
