This week Mon - off (I'm biking tonight) Tue - 4 Wed - 6 Thu - 4 Fri - 6 Sat - 3 Sun - 8 That is a lot of running with no breaks- take care of those legs! That, and you haven't run for awhile. Don't be afraid to scale back the mileage some starting out. I'd hate to see you injure or reaggravate anything. That is my fear, too. I plan on taking it super slow to begin with. I'm also hoping that the cross training helps to 1 ) keep me from getting injured, and 2 ) helps me get in running shape a little bit faster. Since I have had a few injuries lately I think I'm going to scale back my summer. I think I'm only going to do the sprint at the end of July, and the HM in Sept before the marathon. I really want to focus on making it to the marathon starting line healthy, prepared, and uninjured. <-- THAT IS MY FOCUS FOR THE NEXT 21 WEEKS! |
