If it's not painful and you think that you can race thru it without causing an injury I would wait on the ART until post race.

Use the n.azi torture device... oh I mean the foam roller on it.    You know that's your favorite toy.

Just my two cents.

KelliD - 2010-07-08 3:09 PM

What say you MG.... my ITB and piriformis are tight/nagging me & it feels like someone is elbowing my in the butt, but it's not too bad & I'm not in pain.  Should I go for ART tomorrow (pre-race) or wait & try to work it out on my own?

Wait.  Why not? Do I seem that innocent?

I need a snack and already had my Snickers bar.  Blah.  Two in one day would be wrong right?  Especially since I've had some Dove chocolates?  And the silly vets still have not called back about my cat.

I'm not sure if it's that you seem innocent or if you have more of that mature-rise-above-the-bait kind of presence...

That, or you just don't usually participate in the conversations that make me blush.

My favorite snack lately has been greek yogurt with a hanful of granola and a handful of fresh raspberries.  Swirl it all together.  Mmmmmm.

Now see, I can eat that cause it is plain yogurt, not greek yogurt.  Greek yogurt and goat cheese are my downfall.  I have ti limit milk products as well but I have a larger tolerance for those.  I will eat goat cheese in small amounts from time to time.  I can't do it for more then one or two days at a time though.

Joke for Friday.

I KENOTT swim is set to be in a swim competition tomorrow!  This should be good for a laugh.  Assuming the belly flop in the BT speedo (sorry Todd, someone has to represent) doesn't get everyones' attention the slow as hell swimming should entertain.   Sorry Tif, but you asked for it!

This whole TRI training experience has been one test after another of things I couldn't do before.

Who is racing?  I think I remember Kelli has a race this weekend - good luck!!! Kim has some sort of easy peasy ride - sounds fun!

The other Kim is racing too.  She might have already left.  I wish I lived closer.  Or rather I which you guys lived closer to here cause I am not fond of Texas.  I'd love to be part of that swim meet.  Just to watch the belly flop in the speedo of course.

My corporate headquarters use to be in Plano, Texas and I went once for a course.  I walked from one building to the next, which is side by side, and got SOAKED.  I like heat, I hate humidity.  Ok, so that was August.  That's the best time to visit Texas right???

Looks like I missed some good stuff with the food talk and favorite 'toys', nice!

Good luck to our racers this weekend, keep us posted on how it goes!
