I got another run done today!  If my runs go as planned for the week, I'll hit my goal during the Thanksgiving Turkey Trot!  What a way to be thankful!

How'd the Fall Dippides get so far ahead?!?

I've got my next swim tomorrow and I'm still on track for my goal.

Good question.  Maybe they are all taking this week with the holiday?  Sandbagging?

Alright you Cold Turkeys - I am outta here for the week.  Spreadsheet is all caught up.  I will finish up my core workouts while on the cruise ship, so no worries about getting to goal.  Hopefully I will get in some sun and fun and swim and spin as well as some serious eating.

Ya'll keep the faith!!

Have a great time!

Hi everyone,

Just checking to see how the team is doing, though I had to withdraw.  I managed to complete the marathon on a sprained ankle, so today I will be taking it easy and trying to heal it.  Hope all is going well.

Hey Cold Turkeys!  I got W4 Q1 done today.  My legs were crying by the end and I had a river of sweat flowing.  Great times!

Everyone ready for Thanksgiving?

HEY EVERYONE!

I've just spent the last 20 minutes reading the thread - all 23 pages! Just wanted to check in on the team even though I had to drop out

So glad to see you guys keeping on track.  Sorry I've been MIA, but the broken ankle pushed me over the edge with post-partum depression, and I haven't been very social both in real life and online.  Not being able to take care of my baby fully really hit me hard.  My mom flew in from Ohio to help out and will be here for another week or so.  Anyway, I'm doing A LOT better now emotionally/socially.

In case you all were wondering, I broke my ankle in 3 places and had surgery on 11/11 where the doc put in 2 metal plates - one on my tibia and one on the fibula.  I'm now in a boot but still non-weight bearing for another 4 weeks.  4 more weeks of crutches! bleh.  I asked the doc today if I would be able to run again at some point and he said yes!

Anyway, I'll be back up on BT when I can do something log-worthy again Hopefully in a month!

happy Thanksgiving!

Norine

Awww, so sorry you are having a tough time.  I hope things start to improve a bit.  How's your little guy doing?

Good news about running though! Light at the end of the tunnel.

Dont be bummed Erica...I'll drag you out on your bike for a few long rides, a 100 mile ride will put it back into perspective. I am still a little freaked out the I signed up IMAZ here I come!!!!

Norine, SO sorry to hear that you have been through so much. The good news is it will heal and you will be running before you know it. Enjoy the time cuddling with your baby

Looks like we need a cattle prod for some of our teammates, or maybe they have some big 4 day weekend training coming up.  Come on Cold Turkeys, let's hit our goals!!

Got a swim done today.  I felt all sluggish in the water.  I really need to get back to swimming more than once a week.

I'm one of the slackers....but do have a big training weekend coming up - this is my first year working full time as a mom, so I am still trying to balance it all - have turned into a weekend warrior for the most part. However, I am leaving work in a few minutes and will be off until MONDAY!!!!

So...I plan to meet ALL of my November goals, racing to the finish line!

Hurray COLD TURKEYS!!!
