Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIV Back from St George. what fun! my daughter ( who is all of 11 years old) has decided she is old enough to handle getting herself ready for her dances. She didn't even want me on standby to help with hair and makeup touchups before her second dance! It was so weird. i liked it, but it was weird. Spent some time by the pool, outdoors, in 70 degree weather. i think it actually got up to the upper 70's yesterday. And at the pool party after the competition was over, I was the 2nd adult to get thrown in the water, fully clothed. Dang husband. I got him back, though. Lesson here: never pull a prank on your wife when she knows more of the people you're with than you do. I recruited a couple teenage boys to throw my hubby in the pool. It was almost too easy for them. on a sad note, I didnt get any workouts in. the fitness room was supposed to be open until 11 pm. As it turns out, it was only open until 9 pm. that's ok. I'l just have to ride my bike in the snow tomorrow. The weatherman is predicting 2 inches of the stuff on the foothills tomorrow morning before rush hour. Heater, be glad you don't have your bike. Then you don't have to feel guilty every time you pass it on your ay to do something else. |

Well, rest from tri training. Still have to werk, laundry and clean my house! SIgned the kids up for swim team yesterday. DD looked so cute in her racing suit. She looked so grown up! I mailed the entries for the kids' tri and my sprint this weekend. So we should be ready to roll. Hope everyone has a decent Monday. |

They keep bopping my in the head though.... static electricity hair by the end of the day I think! hehe let me see what i can do - open plan and taking picutres of my desk mite lok weird... then again who worries about me looking weird? haha no, so far so good but lets discuss at the end of the day! Now.... do I take the balloons home or leave them i nthe office? nice idea! Helium looses its affectiveness in a day or so anyway doesnt it? Well, it stays as helium forever. But it does leak out of the balloons slowly. So they tend to shrivel up, and eventually fall down. |

Elite 4148 Utah | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIV Morning Nibbs... Happy Monday... My y'all were busy yesterday... Hope everyone has recovered well from there weekend adventures. I'm still a little tired... I kept falling asleep last night while watching biggest Loser from last week, I've tried to watch it twice already and fallen asleep both times...hmm... maybe that's a clue. Looks like I will be a little absent this week. R-ball tourney got so large that we've added another night both at my place and at our second lcoation. Sucks that tonight will be my only night at home with the fam until Sunday. (then I think about TinkerBeth and know that I will survive, at least my commute is only 20 minutes.) Well, my phone is starting to ring off the hook again... think I should ignore and leave office for lunch today |

Royal(PITA) 14270 West Chester, Ohio | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIV Hi Nibbs, There was some sort of miscommunication going on this morning...2 of us were left to sit in HR for a couple of hours because they couldn't reach the folks doing the training. I was sitting there wishing I had DH's laptop so I could talk to everyone. It will be an adjustment getting used to sitting and having an hour for lunch. Fitness center on site is pretty minimal--a treadmill, eliptical or 2, some weights and free weithts, fitness balls...The other location (1/2 mile around the corner) has an enormous center though... |

Well sounds like a peaceful start to your first day then - although 2 hours of doing nothing would have driven me nuts! 1/2 a mile to the good fitness centre isnt far right? Thats got to be a good thing! |

Pro 4507 Simpsonville, SC | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIV Good evening, Nibbs. Beth, glad you made it back safe and sound. Judi, hopefully that will be the worst thing that happens in this new job. Cat, sorry your balloons fell. Heather, hope you ignored the phone and got some lunch. I just received my training schedule from my coach. So much for this being a recovery week. The kicker is Thursday. An 11 mile run followed by a 30 mile "easy spin" on the bike. I'm not sure if I want to see what full IM training looks like. |
