Congrats on making a decision

The Blonde actually has encouraged me to apply for the job...

There's no guarantee I'll even get an interview.

Hi, NIBBS.  A drive-by to say that I do believe Spokey likes to copy/paste a lot in multiple threads.  Saves on the those typing skills.

Oh really... arent we special??? *sniff* *sniff*

I *HATE* paperwork.

I am SO with you on that one. Both of my jobs have tons of it and I hate it.

I need one of those magic Harry Potter quills that will fill out my paperwork for me.  I think I just signed my name to at least 15 different pieces of paper.

Do yuo know what any of them were?

I'm not sure...I was pretending I was signing autographs for adoring fans.

I waited and waited for Phil to come back with some sort of "I've got something that will keep you warm" remark.  But nothing.  How disappointing.

I don't know if anything is "too easy" for Phil.

And on that note - it's time for me to quit this place and head home for my cozy bed.

Meh. i found a cool website that helps match you with babysitters, petsitters, and elder care. So far, I have messaged 7 people, and had about 4 or 5 respond--one is interested. And I had two people respond to the job posting I created on the site, so that's a total of three strong possibilities. With my crazy, haphazard schedule I might need all three...

Good luck. For the most part I have enjoyed living in the south for the past 20 years. And I was raised in the north east. Yup, a Yankee in the south. But the metro Atlanta area is such a hodgepodge of people from all over the country and world it does not seem like the south any longer. Maybe you will have that luck in Raleigh. Good luck on the application and interview process.

On that note, good morning Nibbs. Got my 30 minutes on the trainer today for it is freezing outside. Maybe one of these days I'll get brave enough to go to one of Mila's spin classes. LOL!
Course I would have to drive like forever to get to it.

On tap for today.
am - meeting at HQ
pm - management meeting at branch
evening - Ain't Misbehavin at the FOX theatre.

So, crappy meeting day with a fun evening to top it off.

I made it to the early morning lap swim this morning.  My swimming endurance has gone downhill in the last 2 months.

I wish that it cost less to swim-5 bucks for me to spend 25 minutes in the pool (the swim is an hour, but I need to leave to make it to school on time).

No-it is a small technical college.  There is an athletic center with various workout machines, but that is all as far as I can tell.  I haven't even seen a basketball court and there are definitely no athletic fields.

Hmm...do they offer any discounts for students at the Y or another gym?
