December Pick-A-Challenge UPDATE!

I was a bit behind on the spreadsheet, but I am up to date now.  I got in 10 strength training sessions so far and I signed up for eight.  This is not a sandbag.  I had been really lax in my strength training and joined the challenge to motivate me.  It motivated me right into a CrossFit gym and that has helped tremendously.  At least with the number of sessions.  We will see about my abs and biceps and such.  I am committed to CrossFit until February 28 when I will assess.  February 28 is also the end of the No Sugar Challenge and I figure between the two I will be a perfect physical specimen by then. 

I will probably get in three more strength sessions before the end of the month for a total of 13.  Too bad I can't carry an extra over to another challenge where so far I am behind one swim that will be difficult to make up. 

Good luck to everyone as we wind up the month (and the year!

I did not cherry-pick ... my goal was far-reaching given that I had barely started running again in November. I did take a few days off for that nasty Knockers virus somebody spread around .

So team, I am a sucky Knocker. I will not get to goal. The pool is closed today and there is no way to go tomorrow so ... I will not make goal. I did not get my goal on the other challenge either. SERIOUSLY underestimated the time I would not be able to train AND the level of ennui I had this month. I apologize to you all.

Oh, no! Don't knock yourself. It deprives us of the pleasure ... J/K!!!

You gave it an awesome shot. Also, I think pool closure comes under the disaster clause ... you can subtract the days the pool was closed as a fraction of your goal. You may not reach it, but you'll have come as close as you were able.

Yep - if it was something you didn't know about, so you didn't plan on it happening -- you can recalculate your goal. (If it was something you knew about though, and you'd already planned on skipping those days, well, that's different....)

Sorry, I've been MIA this month. I have gotten in my strength training sessions though. Even with traveling I was able to do some squats, pushups, twists, and crunches.

I've got 1 more session to do. So I'll be done tomorrow.
