Nibbs XXXVI (Page 19)

I am a bit frustrated with the internet.  I yesterday I decided that I would do a swim or a run workout this morning based on the temperature (ice factor).  I was so happy when I checked online for the temperature at school this morning.  34*...that will work.  I arrived at school 15 minutes ago and the temperature is 28*.  I decided to do an easy and effect ice check...the car spun out a bit too easily and this was reinforced by my near fall when I stepped out of the car.  No run this morning.

It is colder than usual here as well.  the weather reports indicated a warming trend...I guess that it is a little slow in coming.

YAY!!!!

I just found a baseboard heater in the admin foyer that I can thaw my toes on.   

I am so jealous right now.  My toes are freezing after sitting in the car for 20 minutes trying to get it to start to no avail.  Someone is giving me a ride. 

It didn't last long...I spent 1 minute outside walking to the other building and they froze again.  After 2.5 hours they still haven't warmed up.

Don't you hate when that happens?

I used to have a ton of wool socks when I lived in Wisconsin.  I only have one pair now.  I need some more.  Maybe I should actually finish knitting that other sock for myself.

I wish I knew.

mchally - 2009-01-21 12:41 PM Get to know Happy Chick-then you can go visit her in Hawaii...I think that BTers should have a boarding/hostel philosophy.  I have had lots of invitations for visits with lodging provided. 

That would be very cool.  I feel like I've had a lot of offers of lodging.  Just have to take some people up on it.

Today we are focusing on soil chemistry...
