Liquigas Team Thread (Page 19)

Well I got my stage 14 in today...it was pretty much the fact that we are just too close to Garmin to not have me finish because I was just so done after a family thing today and driving up the island and then back down...Never back down and just giver was my mentality tonight.

Haha.

Last stage tomorrow. 2hr20min ride and 62km to finish up till 100%.

So because some of you asked...and I'm still wearing the jersey and sitting here.

Note: Its with my BB camera because that's the only camera that I have with me right now. I also got back from a ride and am looking pretty spiffy. Haha

ETA: I'm kind of glowy...

No one fished me out of the river   My bike was the happy place today too.

Cute pic!  You look way better than I do after I finish a ride!  I like the jersey. 

Haha thanks! I was still wearing a bit of makeup from the party thing I went to and forgot to take off. It surprisingly didn't end up running everywhere in my eyes! So maybe that helped a bit. Haha.

Ok. Well time to get my final stage and those pesky last 62km in. Then its TAPER TAPER TIME!!! YAAAAAAAA. Haha

Finished my ride. I'm all salty now. It was pretty hot out there.

My legs are pretty done! Recovery time and taper for next Sunday! YESSS...

Got my last ride in Saturday. It was a long ride and went better than I thought. I've never done a ride this long before (57 miles). I did one that was close last year but was with my son and we took our time. It went better (faster) than I thought and was starting to feel it the last few miles but I'm feeling great today. I did good with hydration but wasn't really able to eat anything. Does anyone have any suggestions for something to eat on long rides that is easy to digest?

I did my final update on the spreadsheet. I'm excited for how well things went for me this month. I more than doubled my original goal for time. It looks like we may come in second place though.

We got first on the post padding though. Didn't really have any competition.

I just registered for IMLP! So pumped

They wern't kidding when they said it sold out fast. Less than 45min. Haha.

Yeah I think last year we might have had this many pages after week one.  Next year will be back in to form, lol if Cat needs help i'll ask her much earlier, it's a lot of work to get the writeups done.

It looks like there was an error on the spreadsheet. Or at least --- akrenik's totals weren't being added up the same way as everyone else's.

The number didn't look right -- he was ahead of his mileage goal, but behind his stage goal --- but the percentage looked too low. So I copied the formula form one of the other cells....

We're now at 99.55%

Everyone hit 100%, and akrenik was at 96.9%.

Can't get much better than that!

Yeah, I just noticed that one of the teams is at 100%. :P

Its amazing to me that we did so well this month and still didn't get it. I still think we're an awesome team. I've never been on a team where we've come so close to 100%. Congratulations everyone. You all did a wonderful job! 

I see my infamy was short lived. Dee cleaned up her signature line and I didn't make the cut.
