Goggs and M (and other chitowners) skip the new wine bar Umbriago (state and hubbard) for food. Fair market value on some nice italian wines but most are only sold by the bottle. The food, we did not find well done or tasty. Though, the choc cake with fresh rasberries and champagne from Chicago Cut fixed everything
Thanks for the heads up... though for me a 'serving' of wine usually means the bottle. Tony would LOVE the chocolate cake - I'd eat the raspberries. Mmmmm chocolate cake....... Good morning gorgeous Ladies. Hi my dear. |

And I was sore from the 100 pushups the day before. Next time I go for it. Congrats on your leg press PR! That be a lot o weight. Big weight! I've never done that one. Seems like 85 lb bench press is a really good place to start, I've seen girls struggle with benching the bar for 15 reps. Congrats! Thanks, I was rather pleased. |

Good morning gorgeous Ladies. Good Morning to you Beautiful! You super, amazingly strong legged, woman, you! More like tired and stiff legged woman this morning. That lift started a 2 hour legs workout plus a half hour of cardio, so the legs are a little dead this morning. How is Chi town treating you. One of my favorite museums is there; the Museum of Science and Industry.
Yikes! And I thought MY legs were tired this morning with all this IM training! I need to be less wimpy. Chicago really is an amazing city - there is so much to do here. The Museum of Science and Industry is on my list of places to go, I'm just waiting for Tony to get free tickets for me |

Not much to do today as I've already done my bike workout for the day (swimming later with Tony once he's done that work thing he does to keep me) and did laundry and went grocery shopping yesterday. I need to spread the chores out during the week so that I don't get too bored. Nah, I'm not really big on video games, especially ones that involve killing people. I think maybe I shall go to the triathlon store today and try NOT to spend any money... that should be a good challenge for myself! |

Thanks, I was rather pleased. my gym (planet fitness, yuck) got rid of bench presses. didn't have squat racks to begin with. guess they keep the membership at $10/month by keeping the "dangerous" stuff out and keeping insurance low. but, it's getting to a point where i'm about to join a bigger gym so i can actually work out.
or i can buy a house with a garage and start building a home gym... |

It is crucial to know when to be naughty and when to be nice. Or you have to just not care what small minded jerks with axes to grind think of you. |

Pro 4189 Pittsburgh, my heart is in Glasgow | Subject: RE: TAN #180 Degrees (Turn Around, Every Now and Then) So I'm planning my flight to Glasgow... Do I leave at 8:23 in the morning, get to Newark around 10am, and then wait until 7:40 pm to get my flight. or. Do I leave at 10:23 in the morning, get to Newark around noon, then wait until 7:40 to get my flight. Leaving early: if the flight gets cancelled or delayed, I have the other one for back up. But that's a BIG layover. Perhaps not so bad in Newark? Leaving later: not having to get up at 0Dark30 hrs, shorter layer. But possible bad traffic getting to Pittsburgh Intl at that time of the morning, plus there doesn't appear to be a backup plan if I can't get that flight. There is a flight with a much shorter layover (PIT - BOS- DUB-GLA) but there are really tight layovers in Boston (1hr 10 min) and then in Dublin I have to clear immigration and make a short layover there too (not a huge deal, there's like 4 flights a day to GLA or Preswick) but I still have to immigrate again in the UK. Not sure I want to do this, because my arrival is *very* time sensitive, but my departure isn't. Thoughts? |
