Veteran 727 Baltimore Area | Subject: RE: November Challenge – Total Distance User Name: Lovey Swim: 360 minutes (coach provide workout so yardage varies) Bike: 240 minutes (2x a week spin class) Run: 48 miles It is light but November is a high travel month and I can't always get a full workout in when I am away. Hotel pool is not cut out for lap swimming at all. If I can get more swim or spinning in, I will adjust my goals. Should I count minutes for spinning or estimated miles? I can do 1 hr=12 miles, 45 = 10 miles or so. Thoughts? Edited by Lovey 2013-11-04 3:14 PM |

Expert 1068 , District of Columbia | Subject: RE: November Challenge – Total Distance Originally posted by trigal38 I'm on the board with a 5k run last night with my 7 year. It was his first 5k, he ran the entire thing in 31 min and had fun doing it! Then an outdoor bike ride in 45 degrees with a 15 mph wind. I know that is not a super strong wind but man it ate me up today! Very impressed with your 7yo! I run with my niece with every Thanksgiving; she's almost 11, and it's my favorite run of the year.

Heading out on the bike in a little bit if all goes well. And an hour of mountain biking. It was beautiful out there today. Nice job today! It was pretty here too today. I got in a short ride and run on the trail. All the leaves were yellow entering the trail with the sunlight shining through, like running right into the sunshine. I actually liked Fall for a little while . Same here. I Ooohed and AAAAhed the whole time. We were on trails that no one was on or had been for a while. The trail was totally covered with leaves under our wheels under colored leaves- like stained glass, only better!
Sounds lovely!

Veteran 727 Baltimore Area | Subject: RE: November Challenge – Total Distance I have never done a google spreadsheet but I figured I would try. At least this way, everything is calculated for you. I can fix any formula issues later. Here is the link, I think everyone is updated. I used a similar format used for the Ghoulies October challenge. November Challenge - https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Am-h9UNHfeGkdGJ4VlVXQmh... For those you cannot open it, we can update from your logs once a week. I cannot open google docs at work, only on my personal computer or my smart phone. If you prefer the previous spreadsheet in excel, that's ok too. Edited by Lovey 2013-11-05 1:20 PM |

Thanks for pulling this together....now we can all update our own information at the end of the training week. I also like the % Complete columns, helps keep people on track. Well Done! |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: November Challenge – Total Distance Thanks!! I changed my goal numbers, it was in miles and I am doing total time. I also added my strength goal, too. I know it isn't the "total mileage' but it is the best I can do this month. |

You just type in your numbers and then click on any other empty cell. It saves your changes just like magic. (the reason for the empty cell is to ensure that you don't accidentely change another value that you didn't intend, and it lets the spreadsheet know you are done with entering the info into the cell you changed). |
