Good luck this morning...

I went yesterday for my lithotripsy...I would tell you all about it but I don't remember a thing...I sat down on the table around 10:15...they hooked me up...started it...I said it kinda hurts...I woke up in a room around 12:30 with my mom beside me...thats it...I was very sore for the rest of the day and have what looks to be a softball size hickey on my right side...but this morning it feels ok...

Call me in a day or so and let me know how it went...

Glad to hear it Tiggere.  Did they pass yet?

I have been near ZERO energyf or the last two days.  A combo of the pain killes, the pain itself and the anestesita knocked me down flat.

The removal went quickly and they did have to put in stent.  It's a rather "rough" procedure and the "little buddy" is pretty sore.  The worst part is that this doc does not use the string on the stent so he's gonna have to go back in with a scope to get it out.  Lucky me.  I'm asking to be doped up with valium for that part.  Anyone have any experience with this part?

The most amazing thing to me is how much this has wiped me out.  I can barely walk around the block without being dead tired.  Kind of hard to go from 5 and 6 miles runs to a 1/4 mile shuffle in a matter of days.  Of course of the 12 ponds I've lost I'd guess maybe 1/2 to 1/3 was muscle so I should not be surprised.

Make sure you're drinking EXTRA fluids and eating LOTS of fiber.  Those pain meds can really 'plug' you up!

Just the anesthesia will knock you on your butt.  I had a stent removed in the office..Just some local stuff.  it was no big deal.....but I am not male...

Well got the stent out today.

The best word to describe it is...unpleasant.  Not really painful but certainly not anything you want to do more than once.

So finally after 2+ weeks it's all over.

I feel like I'm starting from scratch in my training howver.  This whole thing knocked me on my butt.
