Cavu9 - 2005-11-16 12:52 PM Go with the Zipps....if you buy a bike for less than 2K, you will still want to upgrade in a month.  This way whether you upgrade or not, you have nice shoez for her!

This should read "if you buy a FELT bike for less than 2K, you will still want to upgrade in a month." I'm extremely happy with my $1300 Cervelo.

apprently Bear there's some people who don't appreciate a good bike!

uh, you got me....and I am going to upgrade my Felt too......know what I am getting???   Another FELT frameset!!!  See some of us, know a good thing when we see it.  The others will come around eventually!

I guess I can't say anything.  I just got new race wheels for road bike, carbon aerobars, and a new paint job.  Now I want a tri bike.

I can only dream of owning a 54 cm frame.  I need the "wee" sized frame.  I have an extra small road bike and it's almost too big- I had to get the smallest sized stem, smaller handle bar drops, smaller aerobars- it sucks!  Makes me feel like I'm the size of a Ewok or something.  If I got a tri bike, I'd probably get a Quintana Roo- they make them in "wee" sizes.

So does Cervelo!  I'm only 5'5" and I fit on a Cervelo with 700c wheels and everything....

I'm only 5'1" and have short arms/legs.  Apparently teh wee Quintana Roo's have 650c wheels instead of 700c.

Well, yes, if I'd been any shorter I wouldn't have been able to get 700c wheels on ANYTHING.  I think Cervelo and maybe Felt and Trek were the only three in my size with 700c wheels.  I think all the Roo's, Cannondales, etc. even for my height already had 650c.

Sorry if this is hijack

Yeah- we are totally hijacking this thread.  Not intentionally of course, but 3558 won't be posting anymore until Friday.  So it's hard to stay on topic when the originator isn't around.  I feel bad for hijacking and making this thread about my and my wee bike.  So to hijack over, I say he should buy a new tri bike or Zipp wheels.

We would win every race! Think of the hardware!

3558 - 2005-11-16 1:42 PM haley, maybe we should both sell our cars, go in together on a tandem bike, and start a national campaign for a new breed of triathlons called "Tandem Tri's"
